When a long position is squared off .who buys it. And If the buyer of that square off sale is buying fresh and not squaring off it’s short position then how it doesn’t count as a new position .
What is the actual purpose of future trades apart from wagering , as there is no actual delivery of underlying assets .why does exchange allows it to happen ,is it just for getting taxes from transactions.
