I share your sentiments regarding the Mag Tech ammo. I've been breaking in a Phoenix HP22A & a Ruger 10/22 with this ammo. I have absolutely no complaints what so ever! Consistent & reliable it is....!
Wow for less than 2 cents a round, i defiantly would purchase the Magtech. I agree with you on Winchester bulk and Thunderbolt ammo. I just don't buy that stuff. I've even had issues with Winchester Red rattlers 100 round boxes. Get jams FTFeed & FTEject. The Augila brand has been pretty good. I have the SR22, 10/22 and it runs great through them. Unfortunately we don't have Academy Sports around here, (west of Chicago). But i'll look that Magtech up. Thanks for the video.
No problem Dom! The only problem I have had with Thunderbolt is it's dirty. It functions just fine though. Check this link out The Worst 22 lr Ammo Ever Made!!!!!!
I think you're the only UA-camr who reviewed Magtech. Thanks for putting this up. Maybe people are saying that it blew up in their face so the rest of us pass up on it yea? Or maybe they loaded up their Saturday Night Special with it, and the cheap blowback slide was bound to malfunction anyway. One of my buddies told me that Aguila's powder tends to smell like cat pee. What are your thoughts on that?
The reason for them smelling like cat pee is because of the high level of sulfur in the powder I've notice that with the agilas so i don't use them that and they make my barrel dirtier than when I fire any other ammo cause it leaves a oily gooey substance in my barrel which makes it harder to clean than usual but good thing that gun oil breaks down alot of different substances
YEP Winchester RIPPED me off TOO on that Super X SCHIT! Constant misfires in my Ruger 1022. Misfires either completely stopped or significantly reduced after switching to other brands
I wouldn't say that the Aguila powder smells like cat pee but it does have a unique smell to it unlike other ammo. I would describe it as a chemical smell.
I bought 2 500 round umm plastic mason jar?, rounds. They are supper sticky/greasy like... Hard to explain. Just picked up a Sig P322 (only .22 pistal I have) and I am a little worried about putting rounds through it. Any comment? Can they be cleaned up? Big shrug. Bought from Ammo depot. I have more than 2K rounds of Magtech 9mm, never have an issue. Side note, My buddy bought 500 rounds same mason jar deal and same sticky shite.
7022 is a good rifle, it fires well, although using a less powerful ammo like the own magtech ammo, it might not fire some rounds due to the bad feeding.
In all seriousness, the vast majority of people could justifiably care less about the proper pronunciation of a foreign name brand which is no different than the vast majority of foreigners who could care less if they're not properly pronouncing one of our name brands
Been shooting magtech. 22 LR since the 90s never had a problem. Good accuracy through my Ruger 10/22 and my CZ 452 well made accurate cheap ammo
Is it good to go? I also have a 10/22. Are they finnicky with ammo?

I've never had problems with magtech .22 ammo, but I did have a magtech .22 rifle that was junk.
very pleased runs the rifle and minute of squirrel accuracy. will buy again and recommend to a friend
Thank you for that grammar lesson! I hear people butcher the name so much it makes me crazy.
Are you still using these Magtech 22's all these years later ?
You are correct about how to pronounce Águila
i figured u wud be a really big guy who like blue and grey shirts, and his favorite beer would be budlight
3.2 cents a round. I've had great luck with magtech products.

So how did these Magtech rounds work in your semi auto's ?
@@Soli_Deo_Gloria_. I actually dipped the ammo in gun cleaning solvent before I fired them... It was fine, I like the P322.
Its a protective wax 🙂
That winchester was Gray box not white
No it was white box, I have never bought any Winchester gray box....

I have never used that weapon.

Isnt Aguila Brasilian company, thus it is Portugese word, not Spanish 😅😂
For once someone pronounces it correctly!
I try!
Magtech is dirt .22LR it will NEVER see a barrel of any of my rifle again.
@SixTwoHemi
Why ?
Magtech is Junk .
I shot one box of 38spl of this ammo and spend an hour cleaning my revolver.
I had to remove the cylinder and trigger .
Junk ammo.
