The guy on the horse in the Alice in Wonderland Fry's is the White Knight. All of those statues are very true to the book's design, really cool!
yes :) I used to watch that show also on tv called Ever after High (all the teenagers at the school were sons and daughters of the fairytale princesses / queens etc ) and they had One that was daughter of Alice and one that was daughter of the queen of hearts and went to wonderland once ......and introduced the charecters there was cool)
I love that they didn't ripoff disneys work and they are work of some people with passion
the old man on the horse is the white knight - the first lady is the Red Queen from through the looking glass and the little man behind her is the white king - same story - the large lady with the flamingo is the Duchess - the large alice hand is poking out of the white rabbit's roof - the griffin was the griffin
the griffin was the griffin
heh
Thank you for saying it for us! Lol. I was keeping track of what I had to correct. :P
The rabbit hole entry was especially cool. One of the best representations I've seen, and it's in... an electronics store?! Very cool. Thanks for sharing the Wonderland visuals!
The crying Alice fountain is amazing.
Yes it does
when i was young, i used to go here with my dad all the time, it was probably one of my favorite places in the entire world. just the other day i drove by to see if there was anything there and sadly the whole lot is fenced up. id give anything to go back there. from the bottom of my heart thank you for uploading this.
Thanx for taking us along with u. Where I live we don't have Fry's stores so of course it was all new and interesting to me. 🙂
Jacob , you never disappoint. You keep on with these quirky places. love them.
Love how Adam is just a random guy that's awesome was not expecting to see him there lol.
I live in the San Fernando Valley and shop at the Woodland Hills Frys. Love the Alice in Wonderland theme.
I LOVE Alice in Wonderland more than anything else in the world! I would love to go there just to see it in person lol. The lady with the flamingo is The Dutchess btw.
I love alice in wonderland I want to get a cheshire cat tattoo one day ....Alice in Wonderland by Jane Carruth. “But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here" ...
as he grins ..
I do love their themed stores!
Omg this place is so nostalgic for me. This brought tears to my eyes.
The Fry's near me is Big Ugly Warehouse themed. I feel cheated.
Lol are you in Campbell California by any chance?
Or Fremont?
@@darklordojeda Nope, Texas; DFW area.
This is the one I went to growing up in the 1990s. Thanks for documenting this.
Our Fry’s in Webster, TX is spaced theme. It’s awesome! There’s astronauts and shuttles everywhere. Stars and planet murals all over the walls. It totally disorients you and makes you dizzy if you look at everything too long
Wow 😊 thanks for that tour! That was a fun ride along.
I appreciate watching your videos.
My favorite is the one in Fountain Valley CA. It's like an Italian Villa/Monastery theme. The one in Anaheim is a NASA theme
The one we have in Webster Texas is space station themed.
Always good seeing adam.
The Presentation Rooms are just a mock up of a living room with the latest movies, speakers and TVs.
So cool you went there! So close to my bfs house, my personal favorite is the Burbank one. When my bf told me his local Frys was Alice themed I just had to go see . Later on I showed him the SciFi themed one and he loved it!! :D Picked up the entire Twilight Zone series while there for thirty bucks, it was a steal!
Never tapped so fast in my life, I love Alice in Wonderland 💙
I've been watching you for years and didn't know you did a Fry's Woodland Hills video (where I live)!
I was there a few weeks after you and took pictures and video of everything knowing they were closing soon, and yesterday that was the case. Great video!
Im so sad the frys in woodland hills is closed, it was my absolute favorite
I'd dislike that humpty dumpty falling on me. What a way to go.......
The Mayan Temple Fry’s Store in San Jose is much nicer than the Ancient Egypt one in Campbell.
There is an Aztec temple themed Fry's, the outside is amazing.
Oh wow, I never expected you to cover another Fry's location. Cool!
Fry's eh? Wow. Had no idea. Loved the Alice theming, esp. cuz just watched 2nd Depp version this wknd for 1st time. Now I wanna see the space-themed one!
The Griffin sings with the mock turtle Beautiful Soup
Awesome store! Not far from Campbell 's is a Egyptian museum that the building are shaped like Egyptian pillion temples
RIP FRY'S ELECTRONICS
Fun concept. Looking at what they’re selling it’s a wonder they stay open.
Reminds me of that Jungle Jims Grocery Store near Cincy.
Carpetbagger, the Tweetsie Railroad’s got Day Out With Thomas now! You should go there!!
AYE Jacob is at my Fry's! I love the one in Burbank but my home Fry's is the Woodland Hills one. It's super cool. I'm suprised he didn't mention the giant books all around the store telling parts of the story of Alice in Wonderland.
The first Queen was the Red Queen, then the Queen of Hearts, and playing croquet is the Duchess.
LOL @ the handcuffs thing "who would buy these?" ..umm yeah maybe for adults to ..play with jacob ? :D
I live right by that store & visit it all the time. Really love it in there.
Cool Store ! 👍🏽
I think I'm in love with this store lol very very cool! Thanks for sharing with us!
This is amazing
Wow, cool stores
How cool, didn't know it was a thing!
We've not got Frys in the UK but an Alice in Wonderland themed electronics store is amazing!! I'd love to see it for myself 😍 The other King Tut one is pretty good but there could have been a lot more for the theme in store, great ideas though 😊😊😊
Humpty giving the "stink eye", hilarious!!! So I'm seeing Wreck it Ralph in the Rampage game! TY
Awesome video. Keep the great work
I remember this store i was very little at that time but I still remember a whole lot
In Webster, Tx down the road from Johnson space center, Fry’s electronics has a NASA theme. 👍
What fun, I loved decorated/themed stores. Jungle Jim’s in Ohio has a lot of theming & decorations and it makes it more fun to shop!
I remember going here in the 90s with my Dad and loving it.
Clearly the throwing knives and machete are for when you have to battle the mummy, and the handcuffs are necessary for keeping him immobile once you knock him down. Because he can’t be killed. Cuz he’s already dead.
But yeah, the Wonderland theme was amazing!
I miss this store soooooo sooooooo much
This is so cool I wish all stores did that.
Oh the woo. That guy is amazing too
I used to work at Frys but not this one. I worked at the one in Sunnyvale, CA for many years.
Funny that they played “Don’t come around here no more”. The music video is Alice in Wonderland-themed.
haha but then wasnt that viceo alice themed .. when Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers did that video it was def alice and wonderland themed ua-cam.com/video/h0JvF9vpqx8/v-deo.html so fits In
I would be at this store everyday hanging out at the Dodo topiary.
There is a Fry's not too far from where I work. I had no idea they had themes like this. Guess I'll have to check it out one day.
This is the place when I shop at all the time. the Burbank one is even crazier because they have a space ship that crashed into it
The one in San Marcos California is 20 thousand leagues under the sea
I'm a big fan of Alice in Wonderland iconography, this place looks really cool
I like the video
That wasnt humpty dumpty giving you the stink eye that was Mortimer Blankenship.
Yaaaass San Fernando Valley is the best 🙌🏻
Love Alice in wonderland!
Cool stores!
Thank u for sharing!!!
Well, Frye certainly knows how to make shopping interesting. The cat Goddess is Called Bast BTW.
RIP Woodland Hills Fry's. LOL. Campbell (Silicon Valley) is not down the road from Woodland Hills (Los Angeles).
Great video !!! Love it ♥️
Great video
The Hookah Smoking Caterpillar is my spirit animal. True story.
The Alice in Wonderland store was awesome- normally I would prefer the Egyptian theme of the two, but it doesn't seem as immersive and thorough as the Wonderland store. Also - the Griffin is from the same scene as the Mock Turtle, he's the one that introduces Alice to the Mock Turtle.
I liked the Egyptian themed one! The Alice one was kinda creepy....
Carpetbagger: "I'm a HUGE fan of Alice in Wonderland!"
Also Carpetbagger: "Not sure who that is." (That's the White Knight) & "Think this must be the...Queen of Hearts, ready to...cut my head off" (Wrong. It's the Red Queen) "And the long suffering...King of Hearts" (umm...No). There's the...Queen of Hearts playing croquet w/a dead flamingo" (Sorry. That's the Duchess) "There's Alice herself engaged in battle with...the Jabberwocky" (that's NOT Alice. It's the 'beamish boy' from the poem who fights the Jabberwocky w/the vorpal sword). Hey! At least you got the Gryphon correct! ;)
but in the movie alice in wonderland (2010) -- the one with anne hathaway and johhny depp that had a sequel too -- alice DID fight the jabberwocky on the chessboard when facing the red queen .. to save her friends and the future of wonderland .... she became the white queens "champion" and accepted her fate as such -- so ya bith right but in the books the boy fought the jabberwocky but the one in frys looks like from the movie where its alice fighting him on the stairwell chessboard ......(where she chops off his head to kill him) davelandblog.blogspot.com/2011/09/sundays-in-paris-pt-quatre-alice-in.html pic to show it
@@rachaelk7866 - Yes. But if you look at the Tenniel artwork from the original book, it looks like & the figure is dressed just as the Beamish Boy fighting the Jabberwocky.
@@Guernicaman Oh cool :)
carpetbagger u look like Bud Gleeful From Gravity Falls!!! The Mystery SHACK Is a Good Fit!!!! :)
That's near me 😭😭 wish I had been there to meet you!
Thanks for sharing !!! Was interesting!!! Love your videos !
O_o since when the hell is Fry's themed? the ones by my house and other locations where I live have no theme. man California gets everything.
You should buy me a plan ticket so I can visit this store because I LOVE Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
That is bizarre - I can't believe that store isn't going to close soon, so why do they put so much work/money into unrelated decorations? I guess people come to see them, but the place still probably serves as a showroom for Amazon.
Fry's is HUGE here, in the Tech capital of the US. I don't think there is any danger to it closing.
We don’t have Fry’s in the Northeast, as far as I know.
Very cool themed stored. Loved the aliens on your other vid and Alice was true to the book. Im of the same opinion on the last one. Keep Safe❤Keep Well❤
Neat store!!!!
Cool looking store awesome video
2 cool frys the one we have in Illinois is boring and Plain .
The other lady was from Alice in wonder land 2 or throw the looking glass. The lady is called the red queen that is a chest peace.
Love the vids 👍
The lady with the flamingo was The Dutchess.
The actual heck? I never knew they did themed stores?????
Im impressed how Huge that store is wish we had big stores like that In new zealand lol
I know!!! I'm in california and every fry's I've seen is like a warehouse bigbox store???
I love Rampage! Ralph's my favorite character. xD
The one by Disneyland is space shuttle themed.
I remember your video on the first Fry's you visited. That was fun, and I like the story of Alice in Wonderland so I'm really looking forward to this one...
Wow... off to a good start with the "Rabbit Hole" entrance...
Love the atmosphere in here, AND there's plenty of cool electronics, too, so that's definitely my kind of store... 👍
Ooh! Rockstar energy drinks! I have one of those every morning. 👍
Hoosiers: music by Jerry Goldsmith. Good movie, too, as I recall; haven't seen it in a long time, I must admit...
Not particularly interested in King Tut, but the theme does look cool...
What's with all the bladed weapons for sale in an electronics store...?
There are a few Fry's here in Dallas area. I'm not sure about the rest, but the one near Garland is themed like the old west.
remember what the door man said....feed your head...feed your head
Coolness 😉
King Tut he gave his life for tourism
Such an oddly specific theme for an electronic store…
Absolutely AHHHHMAZING sculptures! I've loved Alice in Wonderland for 40 year's now. Oooh now I want to see the Alien themed one. You'll have to go to it & record a video for us. **JACOB ~ DO YOU KNOW THE NAME OF THE ARTIST WHO MADE THESE SCULPTURES/STATUES? SOOO MUCH TALENT!!**
In the presentation room you learn how to use handcuffs and throwing axes.
We had an Aztec themed store in San Jose off hwy 880. Not sure if it is still there now.
