OET Speaking - Introductions for Different Settings I Effective strategies

In this video, we are talking about structuring introductions for different settings in OET Speaking and focusing on unknown and known case scenarios. Understanding the distinction between Unknown and Known scenarios based on the given setting, such as emergency department, causality and causality ward (Known case). The structure for initiating the conversation in unknown cases involves greeting, self-introduction, making the patient comfortable, identifying the reason for the patient’s visit, providing reassurance, and collecting patient details. The conversational flow for known case scenarios includes greeting the patient by name, asking about their well-being, giving reassurance based on their response, and collecting details of their condition.
