- Pacific City Thousand Trails RV Resort has to be one of my favorite parks so far. 308 camp sites spread out through the forest and across from the ocean that you can walk to. Pacific City is cute laid- back beach town you just can't get enough of. The camp sites are roomy and not stacked on top of each other. Most sites have the full hook ups and 30amp and 50amp power. If you are in the area of Pacific City this is a must stay camp ground. CAUTION you won't want to leave!! :)

Hi Ron, nice to see your out on the road again. I loved your review of Pacific City TT park. It brought back good memories of our stay there last summer. Maybe one of our favorite TT parks. I have to commend you on your video (and audio) as it was so clear, smooth and your drone flying skills are nice and smooth. Enjoyed it very much and will be looking for more as we follow your Pacific Northwest Adventure.

Next Exit thank you so much, but nothing fancy here. I just use my Sony FDR-X3000 and a mini Rode mic. As for the drone I have the DJI Pro-4 and just still learning how to fly it. We are loving the Oregon Coast and so far loving the Thousand trails parks. So far we have been to 4 TT parks, Yosemite Lakes, Seaside Oregon, Pacific city Oregon and now at whalers rest near Newport OR. Next park will be in Florence OR. Can you stay at thousand trails in a van or is it RV only ?
Camp Runamuck I have seen people camping in vans cars and tents. But when you become a member they do ask what kind of RV you have. We just became a member and learning the can do’s and don’ts of the membership. We are talking to as many long term members as we can before we jump into the system full time.
Ron In A RV it seems like a good deal if you use it at least half the year especially on the west coast where they seem to be a bunch of them . I travel in a old VW Westfalia it’s Titled as a Camp mobile . Some places don’t want vans without black tanks
Camp Runamuck it is a great deal but you have to use it to get your moneys worth and live cheap. I do see what you mean about the van.
when I was traveling in my van across United States I did not have the thousand trails membership and only Boondock everywhere I went. But of course I did that on purpose just to see how cheap I can travel cross-country in my van.
Pretty fancy compared to boondocking in a van and peeing in a can.😀
