If you fly from India direct to KLIA, then to Singapore would be more convenient. Also, from Kuala Lumpur you could have taken a domestic flight or bus trip to Johor Bahru, where you could have gone to Legoland. Then from Johor Bahru you can take bus or taxi just 30 min to Singapore. I think Legoland missed out from your travel itinerary.
