One of my favorite songs by Breaking Benjamin man, great work bro. 🤘
Thanks dude!
@@fgeo91 no problem man, keep up the good work🤘🏼
This guy should be Hired by BB as an Extra guiter player!! Amazing play
I wish! That would be a dream come true!
Frans Georges contact them bro
One of the most underrated song from their most underrated album so sick you are super talented love your work keep it up
Thanks so much!
I know this cover is almost 2 years old, but damn this song hits me in the feels. I think this is my all-time favorite song from them. So much purity in these albums.
This album had some absolute bangers that were very underrated.
@@fgeo91 It really is a shame that a lot of WANA songs and Phobia songs get overlooked. These were, up until Dear Agony, the peak of their music.
How to study for a Cal 2 test: Listen to Frans jam out your favorites songs while doing so.
Not only is this a badass and solid cover, you even listed equipment and software used. Pretty much just saved my ass a whole lot of time looking around online.
Thank you! Glad to help anytime :D
PERFECT
Thank you!
hell yeah
I wish I would be able to play guitar. Love this!
Never too late to start learning! :)
@@fgeo91 Agree! Videos like yours make me wanna learn!
Yesssssssss my dude, my favourite track on the album tied only with Believe OR Breakdown.
It's a pretty awesome track :D
Dude keep up the phenomenal work. BB's first 3 albums are my favorite and most unique imo. Their last 2 seems to be a mild progression of a single polished direction that I just can't tolerate past Dear Agony.
Thanks man! I agree, their albums pre-lineup change were phenomenal. The last two are good in their own way, but they lack something that the other albums have. Still enjoy listening to them every now and then.
Dude you’re awesome! Love this song! Great job!👍
Thanks so much 😁
that riff is sounding amazing!! nice job dude!!
Thank you!!
Awesome guitar cover 👍👍👍
Thank you mate!
awesome job as always Frans
Thank you!
(added to my spotify playlist)
Great Job dude
Cant wait for that lesson vid... :)
Thank you mate! Lesson is in the works, may be another couple of weeks before I can get some things sorted for it.
Awesome job! Love this song a lot!
Thank you!
I love your covers for breaking Benjamin and I often study your covers to try to figure out the tabs. Could you post tabs on each of your covers from now on to help fellow guitarist out? Much obliged and keep up the awesome work man!
Glad you enjoy them! I almost always use Songsterr for all my tabs, and often update the tab myself (I'll link it if I do so in the description) if I think the original tab is incorrect. So far on the WANA covers, I've updated the tabs for So Cold, Follow and Firefly but both this song and Simple Design had very good tabs on Songsterr. I highly recommend checking this site out regularly for updates to its tabs.
Frans Georges awesome!thank you so much for getting back to me I look forward to hearing more great covers!
Awesome!2:57
How the hell did you get the exact tone and feel (not sure how else to describe it) of the album? There's just something special about the amount of distortion and the notes that BB uses on We Are Not Alone.
A lot of trial and error/experimentation. What it came down to was basically not being too liberal with the distortion, for both rhythm and lead (especially the lead). The rhythm is more of a heavier "crunch" tone if that makes sense and the lead is barely distorted, just on the brink of overdriven if anything, with some slight reverb and chorus effects. I guess that's the best way I can describe it.
@@fgeo91 I love that you actually take the time to write out a thorough response. Thanks! This really helps me understand what's going on with the notes in these songs!
Another banger!!!!🔥👍👌🎶🎼
Cheers!
Great job man!
Thank you man!
I never noticed the harmonics at 2:20 it sounds way better when they're noticeable
Yeah they add a nice touch to the clean section
@@fgeo91 good version. Do You agreed that Breaking Benjamin is a bad boy band 🎸
When the chorus starts, after the first 4 chords, what's that transitional one you use to go into the second part
If it's the one I think you're referring to, it's a 6-6-3 on the D, G, and B strings respectively.
niceee
Thanks!
Phaser or flanger used here? Nice playing, I’m going to guess phaser
Thanks! I'm assuming you're referring to the clean guitar in the bridge, I think it was a phaser from memory.
Nice Gen 2 Lugia art on the wall 😂
And I love this song
Haha thank you, I made it myself :D
How do you switch tones?
Great video mate , I also wonder if you guys can help me or not , I wanna buy a guitar thats suitable for heavy metal and all sort of rocks from 800 to 1000$ . Is LTD EC1000 deluxe a good option or there are much better guitars than that?
The Hound LTD’s are good guitars. It’s actually what BB uses live.
Emperor Palpamemes Since 2013(The start of the new lineup) Because the old lineup used different guitars. Ben was a PRS lover(same, tbh! Lol! But I love LTD/ESP too). And Aaron fink..... used whatever he used lol. All I remember is that he always had great tone
LTD EC1000s are great guitars, I've used my brother's one in a few videos of mine. You can't go wrong with a PRS SE as well, both guitars are extremely versatile and excellent value for money.
As for BB, they've all pretty much switched to ESP LTD guitars live but Jasen does use a Fender Strat usually for the songs in Drop A#. As for Aaron Fink, he often used a Music Man (amazing guitars), PRS from time to time and even a Fender Tele at one point (especially around the We Are Not Alone era).
Awesome video! Just a quick question dude do you have any Greek origins ?
Thank you! Haha nah I don't, I do get that question a lot though.
Frans Georges i see anw keep rocking man
