I start training Tuesday and I’m so excited this is really going to be my first job I use to be a home caregiver and don’t really have no experience with anything other work so I’m hyped to be working at dollar tree as a recovery person 😅

Hi , what is the difference between a sales floor associate and a regular cashier? Is there anything different or similar between the two? I worked at dollar tree before last year forbonly a month and a week. Unfortunately i worked cashier:/ and didn't enjoy it. I want to apply again but it knly listed sales floor associate positions currently available.
I can’t remember which work vlog it is but I showed a little bit of it in one of my videos from last year. In the go backs and damage section we just have baskets labeled with each area in the store and a basket for damages. The good thing is we don’t throw a lot of stuff away anymore we have a discount section now if the product is not messed up too bad we can still sell it for a lower price.
So your a stocker ? I heard there going to put me in produce do yk how thats loke i just re did the hiring packet because i did the first one wrong lol but i think i start once they call me again.
To be honest I’m not sure🤔 You can let them know how you feel about working the cash register. See if they will let you do produce only or you can also ask about doing recovery and stocking as well.

At my store the stocking position is on third shift, not sure how it is in the other Dollar Tree‘s

No, at my store stockers are on third shift. I do recovery and go backs(put up returns)🙂
