Thanks Ade. I’m watching all of your engine builds again as I’m planning to start building a engine soon. Just need to sort my lathe out first. You have such a calm easy way to explain the build. Love it.
Thank you Andre for your kind comments, if you follow my plans and dimensions for the Wig-Wag engine you won't go wrong, and I guarantee it will run first time, and give you hours of satisfaction of your own scratch built engine, and join the thousands of wigwag builders around the world. If you do Facebook, search for Wig Wag Engine and join our group for help and support throughout your build. Take care and God bless! Ade
Thanks Paul, I built many things on my lathe before I bought the mill, a lathe is a very capable machine, the mill just makes mounting stuff easier. Regards Ade
Thanks, very good as usual. I am actually building it. Base, column and flywheel completed using very modest equipment... so far so good! Waiting for next one!
Hi Lorenzo, great to hear! I have noticed a couple of errors on my drawing tonight whilst making the connecting rod, so hold fire on that till I make some adjustments ;) Regards. Ade
Hello Ade. Some great tips you shared there for us newbies. Looks to be off to a great start. Looking forward to the next installment. Thanks for yoy hard work! Joe
Hi Ade, Great looking engine, Glad you pointed out the use of files for those of us that don't have a mill. May I ask where do you buy your stock metal from? Regards Mike
.... Miauuu.... i know what you talking about 😉😊... great done! Nice how to do video! You should read Audio-books..... !! Your speaking is verry nice... !
I going to leave you tube just need an answer ddo you put these bloody adverts on or is it pissing you tube totally spoils any thing you want to watch 10 adverts for 5 miin vlog not worth watching
Hi John Brace, UA-cam place the ads, but I do have some control, and have just just removed the mid-roll adverts, as I fully appreciate how annoying they are, so I do appologise, I do get a tiny income from the ads which help me to fund buying metal stock for my projects, so it is a bit of a love/hate relationship with advertising from my point of view, the income is welcome but I dont want to piss-off my viewers at the same time, so I do appologise, unfortunately, as with everywhere these days adverts are unavoidable, I record live TV so I can skip the ads when I re-watch, and for UA-cam you can use an Ad-Blocker, so there are ways of avoiding ads, but this also prevents creators from gaining any income from their work. There is always two sides of a coin, but the big corporations always land heads-up. Kindest Regards. Ade
@@AdeSwash Sadly consumers of UA-cam content forget that without adverts UA-cam would not exist. It’s not a charity and nor should the creators not be rewarded for their efforts. It’s a difficult call. As viewers I would hate if all creators only provided content only for their patrons. I can’t afford to be a patron of one site let alone multiple sites. Having to watch a few adverts (as annoying as they are) is a small price to pay for creative content produced by people such as yourself. Thank you for doing so and I hope the small income you derive from UA-cam allows you to fund the material costs you incur.
