Having watched this session I feel a wonderful sence of hope that the business community can awaken to what is important. This resonates so strongly me and with the output from my Masters in Emotional Education I've just been awarded. Namely, it requires courage to be compassionate, in the face of our habitual quick fixes (cohesion,, denial, blame, defensiveness, punishment by reward, fear of conflict, fear of change etc). And it may be comforting to learn that we don't need to know what we need, in order to enhance our wellbeing (or the wellbeing of our businesses) from the outset. It only matters that we have the courage to start the process and an ability to sit with discomfort within ourselves, as it arises, knowing that it will lead to greater wisdom if we do. Out if that compassion and wisdom is born an infinite number of beloved, wonderful, creative possibilities I'm also really happy to have seen such a large business on the same platform as people talking about Mindfulness etc. Maybe there is hope for the future of humanity and a sustainable future, environmentally speaking, after all.
