  • Hope you are all well. Had a little time to finally put the bike together. I didn’t make a “how to video” this time. My son learned how to crawl at the time of filming haha. Great time!! Anyways not much to say! Enjoy!

      Yes they are a little pricey for sure. You can buy a used mini bike for 500 bones on market place, but my heart is with these little 2 stroke.

    I've gotten a few sets of rims from bikeberry if you want them to last at all you're gonna want to get some grease in there and adjust the bearings they always come too tight and no lube

    • @grendelsgarage9723
      @grendelsgarage9723  7 місяців тому

      The rinse seem nice! But dam, I couldn't get the nuts off on either rims. I only have one of the cheap rim wrenches. I will have to grind down a new wrench so I can get some leverage 😅😅. Yes they seem bone dry. Like no grease at all.

    Looks awesome brother your going to love disk brakes you might want to seal the tank I own 3 gas tank frames that's how I got them free first one had a pin hole they sent me another one and I blew air in it thought forsure no holes 2 weeks later I smell gas sure enough had to pull everything off the frame wash out the tank with dawn dish soap about 3or4 times and cleaned it with Asaton then I emailed a company that builds costume gas tanks for like dragsters and they told me red coat tank sealer works great so zada sent me another bicycle and I didn't do anything with it for a year or 2 but in December of last year when I decided to build the athina minaralli I pulled it out and first thing I did was seal the tank best be safe then sorry that's my opinion sir be safe brother

    Love my F-Zero BBR stage 4 bike. Run a pair of adjustable tensioners in the rear dropouts of the frame, crucial in getting the rear wheel aligned to keep the chain off the tire. I got 200 miles on my bike with no real problems 40 mph stock with the 36T sprocket, good luck with yours…

    • @grendelsgarage9723
      @grendelsgarage9723  7 місяців тому +2

      Nice work! Yes, I was thinking that chain tensioner for the dropouts will be key 🔑 👌 👍. Where you able to run the hookworm tire in the rear?? Thanks 🎉🎉🎉🎉

    • @rcadventures4342
      @rcadventures4342 7 місяців тому +1

      @@grendelsgarage9723 yes I ran the 2.5” hookworm front & rear but the rear was so close to rubbing the tire (it actually left some light chain marks) guess it did make contact at some point. Fortunately my kit from Bikeberry came with the 3 spoke mags also so that’s what I’ve decided to keep on the bike, no clearance problems now with 2” tires. You can see GoPro video of a ride and bike on my channel, good luck and I enjoy all your videos…

      @grendelsgarage9723  7 місяців тому +1

      Oooo okay my man, I'm going to check out your channel now and sub! Thanks for all your information 👍 how do you like the Mags??

    • @rcadventures4342
      @rcadventures4342 7 місяців тому +1

      @@grendelsgarage9723 thanks man, I’m loving the mags they’re lighter than the spoke wheels by at least 1.5 - 2 lbs (each) but even more important they’re perfectly true & straight . So yea think I’m leaving them on for a while. If I put the spoke wheels back on I’d probably go with a 2.1” wide tire that would give proper clearance with the drive chain…

      @grendelsgarage9723  7 місяців тому +1

      @rcadventures4342 Thanks, my man! I'm really thinking about getting some down the road. Didn't think about them being lighter, though.

    In my old bike I had like that I knocked a star out and put an adapter from 1 inch to 1 1/8 inch. It’s what you use on old style bikes to convert to new handlebars and I was able to put a gooseneck on the bike.

    • @grendelsgarage9723
      @grendelsgarage9723  7 місяців тому

      This has me thinking. I might have the adapter. Are you talking about the quill stem adapter that has a stem wedge with a modern handle bar holder? Thanks 🎉🎉

    • @estelallen

      Yeah that’s what I’m talking about

    • @estelallen
      @estelallen 7 місяців тому

      Yeah, it tightens down inside this tube and then gives you that extra amount you need for gooseneck
