Gozo - One Island, Two Opera Houses (Full Documentary, 2016)

Great opera in little Gozo. The neighbouring island of Malta has the highest opera density in the world for only thirty thousand inhabitants with two rival opera houses - the Aurora Opera House and the Astra Opera House. Amateurs organize, stage and sing. Unfortunately, the two opera houses are not best friends... World star tenor Joseph Calleja mediates in the annual showdown.

Everything is possible when a society sticks together.
Maltese always had a very strong knit community life.
Has to do something with being a tiny island between Europe and the muslim world.
Because of that, they experienced and suffered a lot during history.
