I don't use binder clips. What I do is open up a few paper clips and feed them through some of holes. When I put the coil back on, I remove the paper clips as I get to them. It works like a charm.
Haven’t had the best results with my life planner Frankenplanning can’t get ever the coils back right so it folds back on itself and it ends of messing up my cover... but I have a budget mom workbook I had printed and coiled and I recoiled the sheets into my deluxe monthly and I LOVE IT!!!

Every time I watch you, you get me so excited to plan lol your happiness is so contagious and so are your amazing ideas! Okay so I caved yesterday and purchased the duo after saying I would finish up my planner until December! Let’s be real that rarely happens! Lol so now I see this frankinplanner and I’m so intrigued! Oh heavens decisions! I think it just takes a lot of trial and error to find our our happy peace, one point I think I finally have it then I switch it up again! I guess that what makes planning so fun, there are no rules!! I can’t wait watch more! I’m new at UA-cam with planning videos, you’ve been such an inspiration to watch
After watching you, Plan With Jen, and Laken, I recoiled for the first time this week. I was successful but I will say I am impressed that you can do it and talk at the same time!

Great tutorial. I combined mine this week. Now I wish I'd have waitined to see you do it. But I know for doing my next 6 months. I'm really pleased with it on one coil it works really well for me xx

I just did this too! But I’m only doing 4 months to start. At the end of the year I’ll coil them into 2, 6 month planners. But I’m only going to carry around 4 months at a time.... that way it’s not too huge!
Julie, I did a thing I brought the EC three month binder inserts punch holes in them and coiled it into my LP. I didn’t want to buy the duo because I am still on fence. ❤️ video thanks for sharing
This is why I'm a Happy Planner girl. I'm planning to get the happy planner punch too. So I can just throw whatever I want in there. Re coiling wouldn't work for me...what I want in there changes too often. I do enjoy ec pwm's though.

Julie, I think you should have written down (have a cheat sheet) of the order of what you want to do with your planner. I am someone who writes EVERYTHING down to prevent errors. Just my suggestion to you for the next time.

I tried recoiling last year and messed up so bad I ended up ordering another planner. I bought these same pliers so I might try it again. I like how you place the hOutlet behind the daily’s. I have vertical put was thinking to put the weekly in front of the daily’s for that week. I don’t think I can due to the tabs lining up. Ughh! I’m just going to have carry 2 planners. Julie can i pay you to do mine? 😩😩😩😭
Oh, I wish there was a way to have the hourly weekly view and then the daily pages to follow for that week, then another weekly view, with the coinciding days to follow and so on. So, week, days, week, days, week, days. That would be my ideal setup.
If I don’t add stickers. Do you think a 12 month coil would work on for 6 months? I already bought the 12 months and didn’t think of this way until after. Next year will buy 18 months
Hey! Luv the vid! I need help deciding whether to get the academic planner or the monthly planner. As a student, I love the specialized Features the academic planner has for students. However, I like the layers pattern better than the mid century circles. I also like the versatility of the monthly planner. I have gotten some amazing feedback, but I still have trouble deciding. I’m wondering if you could have this done at staples or similar??? I feel like I would screw up all my ec’s... but I’m thinking my daily’s would be great with my vertical weekly’s!! I’m also wondering how it would look to separate it by quarter... I feel like my 18 month is huge!!
I have a question, how come you didn’t alternate between daily and weekly? I would’ve thought that you would put a weekly glance, followed by the days of the daily, and then weekly, etc...

I'd buy the daily if I could do this but don't think I would have the patience to do it
EC should offer this option to build our own at an upcharge if necessary.

They are printed to be separate so you can't actually combine in order like that.
