Nah, its also a poor mechanic since with a lot of champion u can Hook>Flash to extend the range but with pyke u need to hold q before, flash and then actually release q.

Ls says that if you don't hit diamond in the first year of playing league your never gonna be good. But it took caps four years and he was of the best players in the world.

it only gives and refunds mana now, so on champions who took it mostly for the ult cd reduction it isn't the best anymore (think of nocturne, pyke, karthus) that being said it is still a very valuable rune if you need mana (and/or if you are going to be building manamune/seraphs), so on champs like cassio, kassadin, ryze, maybe ezreal (and as it gives max energy as well akali!)
