Lisalisad1 recommended the L’Oréal Miracle 8 treatment and I’m loving that at the moment. Use it between shampoo and conditioner and it’s great. I also love the r and co dry shampoo because of you! Thanks so much for the rec! If you need a spray leave in conditioner or detangler I’m currently loving the Shea moisture kids coconut hibiscus. It smells like vacation and if I could go on vacation I’d be using it before I jumped in the pool or ocean for added moisture. It detangles awesome after the shower too and it’s drugstore! For days when I heat style curls I’m loving a pea size amount Living Proof in shower style cream with an equal amount of the Living Proof texture paste and my curls last for a while without being crunch. It’s sort of a mousse replacement. Love your videos!!
yay glad the R &Co works for you too!! thank you for sharing your faves, taking notes. I've been wondering about that miracle water stuff too, might give it a whirl after I use up my honey hair mask
Sorry it’s the L’Oréal 8 wonder lamellar treatment I think. Not “miracle.”
the winged eyeliner looks great on you Sandra
I was thinking the same! Even the colour of your eyes looks enhanced by this eye makeup 😍
Hey Sandra, just wanted to let you know that one of your youtube thumbnails is on the UA-cam premium screenshot they used for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 promo! (If you go on the Samsung Canada page for the Tab S7 you can see it! 😆)
Today I binge watched your recent videos and this one was cherry on top 🍒
I have same hair as yours so such vids are just mine of gold.
What I love right now is Gisou hair Oil - I was worried that it would be too heavy but it is really nice and will last for ages. Plus it has some Kind of sentimental scent for me.
Quick notes: Alterna caviar cc cream did almost nothing for me, Alterna caviar Sh&c is great, Gisou sh&con is nice but nothing extraordinary, Oribe Foundation Mist is wierd because when I use it my hair is OK but when I stop using it I slowly see the difference so I keep buying it 🤷🏽♀️ Oribe hair oil is lightweight and smells great but nothing to write home about (i use it on my 2 year old daughter because the bed hair is out of his world )
I will check the Davines potion - does it smell strong? And you made me want to buy this Santa Maria thing 🤭
Thanks !!
The Davines smell isn’t strong at all, it’s like a very faint baby powder scent - doesn’t linger in the hair at all and just disappeared after you apply it - thanks for the heads up with Gisou! I always figured it’s off limits for me since most people raving about it have thick luscious hair 😄 I used Oribe Foundation Mist years ago (along with the oil) and I do remember enjoying them! I also was obsessed with the Shu uemura hair oil for a while - their Muroto Volume range is so awesome for fine hair
Hair and makeup look great! Ps- I tried your tip of cutting the cosrx acne stickers in half- and found that cutting them in thirds works even better because they lie flatter to the skin and are less prone to raising in the corners. 🤗💕
Great video! I love the Davines Oi range! The Unite de tangled is also very good. One brand that does not get enough exposure for their amazing shampoos and conditioners is Soap & Glory - they are lovely!
Soap and Glory is very underrated here!! I feel like it gets a lot more attention in the UK. Thanks for suggesting their hair products, will need to check them out ❤️
Fir me white bloggers seems overhyped due to their Proudy style but found u so so humble n without any prétention so ur new subbie here darling .... pls be like thix always ❤️
the kerastase blond absolu purple shampoo is also fantastic for blonde hair. Last year I was in Portugal and I forgot to pack my purple shampoo so I picked it up because it was the ONLY purple shampoo available in my whole city and it legit took my hair from borderline orange to cool blonde again. Also the Kristin Ess hair mask has been the best thing to happen to my dry ends. Now if only there was something that would keep me from shedding like crazy
Hi Sandra, really enjoyed this video, I have also *thin, fine hair* and I'm really interested in the 2 Kerastase products you mentioned, it's a brand that tends to work quite well for me. Want to try the Show Beauty Mousse as well, once my current thickening product has run out. Have a lovely day
Ok you totally sold me on that r&co dry shampoo mist
Sounds like something I would love
Also I just love that brand 😁
I’ll be sure to use your link for the Santa Maria mask. Discovered the brand in Dublin of all places. Divine.
thanks (it's not an affiliate link, but I appreciate it nonetheless 😊) I wish they did more stuff with the smell of that hair mask - it's so good. i also really enjoy their scented products for the closet/drawers.
I recently saw a pro stylist’s video (think it was Elle Bangs?) in which she said that a lot of people misuse Olaplex 3 by leaving it in too long, which is counterproductive. Food for thought! 🤔
Too much of a good thing!! Haha in their own instructions they say you can leave it on overnight so that makes things even more confusing 😄
I have thin fine hair like you. Do you apply the summer spray before you braid your hair at night to make waves? I dutch braid my hair after I wash my hair to make heatless waves too.
No I apply it the next morning after I take the braids out and mess my hair up a bit
I believe we have the exact same type hair. I discovered Redken Extreme Bleach Recovery Lamellar Water. Not available in Canada but I have several friends in Mich that send me treats. Anyway, was booting around Shopper's and saw Loreal had a Wonder Water. So, as it turns out, its the exact same thing but half the price. It's a type of conditioner (not really detangling so I use conditioner after I rinse it out) that looks like water, has a warming sensation on application and emulsifies within 8 seconds. You then rinse it out. I have found that this product gives me smooth air dried hair but the feel of having it blow dried. Not volume cause there isn't a blow dryer in the world that does anything other smooth and further straighten my stick straight fine hair. But it doesn't feel and look like I air dried it. It is totally weightless. Going to give the R & Co dry shampoo a try. I'm unfortunately a head sweater (no where else like normal people, just my head) and a few hours of heavy duty gardening does some crazy sh-t to my hair. Thanks for info Sandra
haha the R&CO is perfect for head sweat (for me at least)!! i hope you like it. thank you for the heads up on the Lamellar water - i had actually been contemplating it ever since they talked about it on the Fat Mascara podcast but i was wondering if it would make my hair look too flat - but now I think i'll give it a whirl after i use up one of my masks. have a great day Deanne!! xoxo
Can you recommend a good hair oil or serum to keep hair frizz free?
That kersastase Discipline spray oil one is great! they also have a serum in the Discipline line that you apply on clean damp hair before you blow dry to help with frizz. if you have thicker hair than me you would also love ColorWow Dream Coat
Do you put the olaplex 3 in dirty or clean hair?
Dirty, damp hair (I just wet it in the sink). I follow the instructions on the back of the bottle :)
You’re killing it lately with all these amazing videos. Been watching you for years, much love from a fellow Canadian ❤️
thank you so much for the kind words, Sarah! i really appreciate it
