Thomas, what are you using for your clean-ish/80's signal? I hear the Eventide micropitch and a bit of shimmer but, trying to figure out how you're getting that sweet tone. If you ever want to get rid of that guitar, I'd like to buy it from you.

@@McRocklin if you went with the double buckers... is there still that function to split to single ? I was just looking at the pickups on my build for my headless 7 string delos online and im curious now
The HSS pick up configuration is my favorite, that’s what I currently have on my Schecter the nick Johnston HSS is very close to the Kiesel Delos almost the exact same specs alder body roasted maple neck locking tuners and a coil split only difference is the Kiesel has two more frets, I love the versatility of it since I play more than just the metal and fusion 🤘🏼🎶🎸 and yes you should play the delos more
Wow, the playing is amazing as usual, but your video production skills are through the roof!... Fantastic, from lighting to the different angles, colour science...
Love that string through floating bridge. Such an improvement over lock blocks on windings. It's just a classy guitar. Glassy like a strat but got more bite and attitude on the pickups.
Such an awesome and versatile guitar. I used to not have a preference of 22 or 24 frets, but as I grow as a guitarist and find the things that really draw me into a certain guitar, having 24 frets is now very high on the list. Having access to the full spectrum of octaves is obviously a win, but really it's for having that consistency when you look down at the fretboard. The positioning gets thrown off when you switch between 22 and 24, and that's one less thing I need to think about when playing if they're always 24. So having a Strat style guitar with 24 frets is huge win imo! Kiesel really does such a damn great job on their instruments.
I always wanted to spec out an insane looking kiesel, but i ended up getting a carvin dc400 with probably the nicest top iv ever seen in person with there dragonburst finish....SS frets, piezo, pre-amp, individual coil-split and phase mini-toggle switches. It basically took up the place of the kiesel I wanted. I later fell in love with the holoflake finish and my GAS was flairing bad. Meeting a top notch as good as it gets luthier made me confident to go the warmoth route! I got an S-style ⅞build(24 frets/24¾" scale) with roasted flamed maple neck, ss frets, wizard neck profile, HH config...the holoflake option from kiesel alone costs more than the price of the ENTIRE body from warmoth. I finally got the parts and my lutheir should be done any day(it takes a bit for the tru-oil to finish)...but let me tell you about the quality. The quality blew my mind. Obviously i haven't played it yet, but the quality of the neck felt as nice as ANYTHING iv ever touched. Damnit i want it already!
So what I've realized after playing for almost 50 years is that these great sounding guitars dont cut it in a live band situation. No matter the "engineering", the sweet sound is ALWAYS lost in the mix. Spoiler: I am a bass player who has been waiting for ever for a guitarist to bring their sweet sound from the studio to the live gig. In ears help a little. Sounds great man!!
Wow. UA-cam's option to preview/stream content without clicking (and loading ads) comes with [comments] such as [music] in square brackets. Every so often I see [applause] but nearly everyone is jamming alone. I think I just figured this out! The YT algo interprets all that delay and reverb as applause. I wonder if as players in our lone studios we do too.
I always thought that you and this particular guitar bonded very well together. Thomas, any chance you could do a video where you demonstrate changing the strings AND intonating a Floyd Rose style bridge?
Hey McRocklin!!! I love this guitar so much, but am a little uneducated with pickups from fishman. I love the Fluence series in this video, the classic bridge and the single coils, but if you wanted an HSH config. could you still wire it to have a single coil neck split while maintaining the other components? (Maybe need to add a knob or so) Also, I like HSH because of the humbucker neck option, but if you would say the HSS neck pickup was good for shredding and vintage neck tones I would likely just end up getting the same pickups in the video. I noticed your use of the in-between blade positions though, from pos. 5-1 what do each of them do? I've looked into it a bit but each person seems to have a different control setup. Yours seems the most versatile from my view and thats what I personally want out of a guitar so please let me know. Thanks, and great video and tone as always! McRock On!🤙🎸
I believe you can, my tech wired this up with a Fender super five way switch. I don’t 💯 in which way. Fishman do have wiring guides on their site so,itchy be worth checking those out. Thanks!

Thomas that clean sound you get, at the beginning. I have been trying to find out what effects I need to plug into my Zoom G11 to get that clean tone. What pedals should I be using in that? That is the coolest clean tone on the planet that I have never heard anyone do before
