I've been repairing my items for about 5 years now and I made my first facemask recently. I just learned what the needle threader was for - I had one but I never unpacked it and never questioned it. It is SO handy for thick thread! Thank you, great video!
Thank you, Professor Pincushion for your you tube channel. I just discovered it today. As a new retiree, I am getting back into sewing and this information is priceless.
Barbara Turner I'm so glad you're getting back into sewing! :)
Thank you Professor Pincushion, I never knew what the little strawberry was for!! Until today I never thought to look it up. Was searching for hand sewing tips and found a couple of your tutorials. Now, I am a new subscriber!
Is it possible for you to place photos with the needle description on your blog so we can print?
Thank you! Kim
I thank God for leading me to your channel! I am a sewing addict :-) and only had lessons when I was in 6th grade (many many many many moons ago!!). So alot of my sewing projects I get from blogs and various websites. You channel is so helpful!!!!!! God bless.

this is a great idea, beautiful and very practice
I want a long needle, with a sharp point, and a big enough eye to thread a 12 weight, but not so big that it leaves a giant whole when so try to sink a knot, or two small it shred the thread any suggestions? Loved your video.
Great video. I recently came across some old needles that have some rust. Can they be cleaned? and how?
I used Size 7-8 needles to sew.
Uhm do you have any tips for prevention of tarnish on needles/pins?
hmmm....I haven't had this issue with any of my straight pins and I've had mine for a long time and don't do anything special with them besides keeping them in my pin cushion
@@ProfessorPincushion hmmm I guess I need to find a good brand. Mine just come from local brands that have a tendency to tarnish. Would you have any recommendations?
I wish you'd mentioned that easy threader two decades ago!!
