Nice video. They need to add the Horde Shuttle mod to the exotic perk on Swarmers. It would fix the threadling generation problem (they'e just not frequent enough) and give swarmers a proper "swarm" identity.

I do not have apex at the moment, but I hope to get it soon. I do have the crux termination with clown cartridge and bipod. Is this a good substitute? Also, what is the difference between bipod and bait and switch, and when should one be used over the other? Edit: Thanks for the good info, everyone!
Bait and switch is a perk that's best suited for doing damage to bosses and that's why the top options for rockets in terms of dps (cold comfort and apex) use that perk, bipod increases total ammo the weapon can hold ignoring what ammo reserve mods can do, and it's better for when dealing with champs or stuff where you're not mainly concerned on doing damage but surviving, so your heavy can be used to quickly shred minibosses/champs but not actual bosses
^What he said. My advice is to craft two Apex Predators, one with Recon/BnS for boss dps and the other with Recon/Bipod for GMs when you want deep ammo reserves.
Crux is a good rocket but this GM has a solar surge so Apex is better here. There's also stasis surge(I think) so the ghosts of the deep rocket is just as good.

My main question to you is, do I need to play aggressive passive or vice versa? Hoping for a reply.
If the first boss is what you're having trouble with, the better approach is usually just playing it slower. If you want to take your time and just get the clear, you can also play it from far range and you'll be a lot safer. Keep an eye out for the blasts and the rest will be fine
I've actually been meaning to get around and try that build, as a replacement for Osteo (rip), and with how good hand cannons are. Have to get the catalyst first though, but it seems like it could be fun to play
Miss your old content when you did that whisper mission solo with abilities only or white weapons only, when the rest of the world was struggling with a 3 man 😂
Could you explain the value of Swarmers? Can't unravel be applied to a target via the melee and spread to the room by just damaging that enemy? Or is it the two threadlings on tangle detonation that are the main draw? I don't understand.
it can indeed spread, you are not wrong, but the more you apply unravel, the more it'll spread fast i believe. Or at the very least, every threadlings might be able to infect another target. It also gives some threadlings to tangles which is always neat. But really swarmers are like the only exotic that buff strand warlock. The rest are more niche.
Extra threadlings are nice on the tangle, and being able to constantly have unravel without relying on the melee is nice. Nothing else really feeds into the threadling build, so they just add a little more to them
