God, watching you be so fast during the jetpack segment of Boom Town gives me the jitters. I distinctly remember those impact explosives around all the jagged corners giving me massive issues when Acing the level casually, so seeing you handling them at such high speeds makes my soul scream in terror.
My brain was so confused, I thought this was just a standard any % lbp speedrun but, with a really slow time in comparison to the other run on your channel. Took me a good minute or so of watching that you completed the tutorial to recognise this was an 100% run and damn, that's a pretty good time. Well done, keep it up with whatever you do!
It's actually an extremely improvable time! I think my sum of best is around 20 minutes faster, so I definitely don't want to stop until I've closed that gap more.
@@RbdJellyfish as someone who doesn't speedrun lbp, all these speedruns are impressive nonetheless. Anyway, best of lucky with closing that gap, hope to see more. Have fun! :)
I'm happy to watch players use tricks in multiplayer sections which I managed to discover myself, Boom Town mostly. Unused bombs at the bank door and multiple bomb towers to activate the button to throw all the bombs into the hole.
It's also interesting to see how many different ways there are to skip those sections. At the Construction Site I normally swing the platform around, then jump on it when it's about to swing to the right and then straight up do another jump with the swing momentum to get on the crane.
I clicked for nostalgia and stayed for the conversation you had about video games having their own realism. I agree having something somewhat sloppy is what brings the Beauty to certain games. I loved lbp3 but I think it’s what killed the whole series with it being rushed out. I am not educated on the whole situation enough to confidently say that’s what it was, that’s just my opinion. But it’s the same reason ps2 and retro style games have that unique feel to them. They’re unique in their own way and that’s what makes it special. When you mentioned that lbp3 didn’t have the same messy slip mechanics and was more paved to “feel better” it made a lot of sense to me. I loved all of the lbp games but personally my favorites were the first two. Man do I miss this game. This was something so special and I wish I appreciated it when it was here more. I spent probably hundreds of hours on these games they were my childhood but I somehow feel I didn’t play them enough. This was a cool video to watch and listen to the things you talked about. Thank you for this video, I really enjoyed watching you speed run this. I’ve never been big into speed running but watching it on a game I’m far too familiar with just hit home. Thank you for being apart of and having help in the creation of this masterpiece of a game. What a great community.
"Also I'm not getting all the bubbles here intentionally, for those who haven't seen this speedrun before." Damn, and I was just about to pause and scroll down for an explanation. Hell yeah, good content, good video, good runner, good awareness. I'm absolutely looking forward to the next 2 hours and 55 minutes. :D
I wish there were more of these lbp 100% runs on your channel. These are nice to watch and it'd be cool if you uploaded more of these even if the runs aren't that impressive.
You can use overlord to spawn jetpacks, and the ghost glitch to fly through walls. I did a run of it a long time ago, not sure if it's on youtube, maybe check speedrun.com. It's like an hour faster than this run.
47:32 The inhale here was sharper than the spikes. The sheer pain was injected directly into my brain tissue (tl;dr I felt that pain).

New comfort video just dropped.

When I say the (1) in Subway, I felt that. It's not fun replaying the entire level casually just to grab a prize you missed in both main elevators.
There's also a sticker you need for a sticker switch that you get in construction site 😕
Time to sit here for 3 hours
i love how the sound effects at 1:01:15 was in sync with the music 😭
2:57:23 it might be faster to jump on top of the snow in the back layer and just run to the end
Grats rbd PogU
Little Big Planet try not to get a copyright strike (impossible)
Sick run !
God I love LBP its my fav game series of alll time, LPB 3 was a huge buzzkill though, still brilliant series though❤️❤️

Big planet 3
Something's wrong. I can feel it
Do you ever plan on doing a 100% run of LBP2?
Not sure, I don't think it's possible solo, so it'd either require some new tech, or friends
Victory!
You are working at MM?!
Do you guys still have the servers with the levels? Or have them been migrated to SumoD?
I don't even think sumo does anything with lbp anymore, it's handled by sony at this point.
1:13:23 how you jump so high?
He did an LCJ or a left corner jump which is a speedrunning trick which gives you more height
would overlord even impove this run???
