I watched one interview with Sam where Sam told that they used Korean for TROS because it is Korean show, but in daily life Sam used to speak English with William and Bentley.
Yes, i see their ig post, where they're watching movies, and Wilben keep asking question to Sam in english, and Wil is so good he gave an Aussie accent

But Im just like Bentley, who can only speak one languages. We understand both languages, but cannot speak it well like another language.

I always wonder why i never hear sam speak in english to his boys. This is quite good to see. Not only its their advantage when they become fluent, its also their heritage
I remember that Sam used to speak more in english with William, also travelling helps a lot (being in contact with his side of the family). Who knows right? Maybe because Sam is also speaking a lot of korean
I think Sam probably speaks a little bit of English with them behind the cameras, if they speak English a little bit often, then William and Bentley will be more fluent! :)

When it comes to rtos, because the show is based in Korea he caters to the Korean audience. Hes not gonna speak English all the time since many older Koreans dont know English.

@shelly Yes, my mum regrets not teaching my sisters and I our language so we only speak English. Although, it doesn’t matter that much since both sides of the family speak English too but it would be nice to speak another language. They’ll definitely be grateful that Sam taught them.
i'm really adore how sam appa educate his sons. rather than as him to master english, he give a lot of encouragement to them. especially when ben only say one word that related to english, then him give reward.

english is really easy to learn esp during younger years, but its harder the other way around learning korean japanese is harder when older... let him watch english cartoons for awhile.. this is so sweet..
they probably watch all the children show in english. it's hard to imagine sam let them have everything in korean
@@thanhnguyen-ht2zv Yes, they watch all Western shows in English rather than Korean dubbed audio. I think Ben understands English very well, he just isn't used to speaking it yet.

Any language is easy to learn in the younger years. The brain hasn’t fully formed as a result it soaks up everything language wise. The problem is these kids are growing with basically all Koreans so they will most likely not understand the reason and why it’s good to speak English. Sam has just got to keep trying

It's okay. They are still so young especially Ben. I'm multilingual and fluent in three languages. I only started learning english when I was 7 and started learning my third language when I was 12. They still have plenty of time. Sam appa just needs to be consistent in teaching them.

I remember that Han Hyunmin talked on variety show, that he was lazy to learn English, so to communicate with his father, he asked his mom to translate....his little siblings can speak English.....so the only person can't communicate with his father well only Ha Hyunmin....😂
