How to Decorate A Cookie | An Animal Hide (print) Cookie | Empty Frame made out of Cookie Dough

In this video I will show you how I made these animal hide cookies with royal icing. Zebra, cheetah, tiger and leopard prints. I used some shading on the base color on some of them. I also used a wet on wet technique and like I mention in the video, I used frozen cookies so that my icing would not crust while adding the details on top. It does make the icing more sluggish. I usually shake the cookie vigorously to get the icing to smoothen a bit. After I am done adding the details, the icing will look a bit bumpy, but as it warms, it does smoothen out more and then it crusts over. I made these frames using cookie dough mainly because I like the way they taste on the cookie. They will look a bit more rugged than using fondant. I hope you enjoy this video!
