Bride has been sitting on my TBR shelf for a while now. At one point, I was excited to read it - at peak hype. The excitement has waned. Don't know what it is, but I'm not feeling the fantasy these days. I'm firmly in contemporary dark romance mode, lol.
God of War was a bit of a disappointment. It just seemed too detached from the rest of the series. Plus, it was a huge letdown that there was no meaningful group scene to end the series on. I mean, it was THE END, and we (the readers) were completely cheated out of a "gangs all here" moment. And poor Remy got the shaft. He was owed, at least, a novella in my humble opinion.
In GOW, I also took issue with the 3 bundles of joy. That was too much. Sheesh, more like a nightmare - not very romantic, 😂! I digress. 😏

I have so many books that I want to read but realize I am just not into that genre and it sits on my shelf for months just waiting for me to decide I want to read it again. Thanks for watching and commenting.
