#Beachcombing

The National Park Service at the Padre Island National Seashore called us at the Amos Rehabilitation Keep with two large green sea turtles that had been entangled in a net. Are orange weather balloons the cause for the entrapment of these sweet turtles as well? 😢😢😢😭

I have not witnessed any sea turtles being wrapped up in a weather balloon, but I've seen turtle bites in the balloon and in the parachute of the weather balloons, so I know there is an impact. Jace
