I use to live walking distance to the Dotonbori bridge, back in the 90's. Everything was so so expensive then. I paid $1200 a month for a tiny studio with a squat toilet, but I loved my time there. Great city , great people, amazing food.
my friends and i went to this place thanks to you! it was SO DELICIOUS. We just got home 2 days ago and I'm still thinking about it. Thanks for the video!
Watched this video while in Dotonbori. Went straight there for dinner and it's awesome. Got the suggested "Dotonbori Special" and it was a great meal, highly recommend. Thanks for the heads up Grif! 😁
Looks delicious! Can you ask for a knife and fork at restaurants in Japan? I just think that it is easier. I don't really care if it isn't the custom. Heck, lots of folks use chopsticks in the U.S.
Was the time on the top the time the order arrives? Or the time to stop eating? I'm asking because some buffet-style restaurants have 100 mins to finish eating then you have to leave.
@@GeorgeMichaelFuentes No, I haven't been to Nagoya yet. We'll be back in Tokyo next year. Maybe we'll have to swing by Nagoya on the way. Have a great trip in November.
I'm pretty sure they do have forks available, as the restaurant is in a very popular tourist area. And there a lot of foreign tourists who don't know how to use chopsticks.
What if one person wants all you can eat and your partner dont like meat and just want a soup and rice? Or must he pay the full price for a "second all you can eat" ?
I think they only offer buffet course sets and no a la carte. If you want to speak to the restaurant, I left their phone number in the description box. Hope this helps!

The time on top is the time you stop eating and have to leave. If you get a chance to go, let me know how it was.
@@grifsfoodandtravel Because of your video, I'm planning to! In December though!

Dont they use charcoal instead?? Or did you opt for non charcoal?
Charcoal is not allowed at these types of BBQ restaurants. Thanks for watching!
the set that you eat, is good for 1 person only?
Each person has to pay for eating at the buffet. So if you go with others, they too have to pay the same amount as the table.

Can you ask for a knife and fork. Chopsticks just don't work well for steak.
I'm pretty sure they do have forks available, as the restaurant is in a very popular tourist area. And there a lot of foreign tourists who don't know how to use chopsticks.
Is the 4k set per person?
Yes, 4K per person. Thanks so much for watching!
Do they accept solo travellers ?
Yes, they accept solo diners. Please call then ahead of time to make reservation. Information is available in the description box. Enjoy!
