I remember Jack being at the Batley variety club ,Batley west Yorkshire UK. A great performance , and what made it rememeral was that the week or so before Jack's appearance was his dad allan Jones, one of his songs was "the donkey seronade ", made famous by allan in a film sat on a horse singing the song with baby Jack on allans knee, Allan arrived in a camper van and would climbe a small ladder up to his dressing room.
Hello Jack Remember 31st March 48 years ago, Long ago, I was in a depressed state having just lost my Father, organize his funeral, get my Mother back from Africa where she lived, to attend his funeral , unfortunately her plane was delayed and she missed attending the funeral. There's a plan which went wrong. I had 5days to get all that done and then onto Sheffield. I certainly had a lot of shocks then after my spirits were lifted in Sheffield back to my Aunt's and Mother. It was a very difficult time no wonder everything did not register with me, Watch this 3lst xxxxx
