- Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have tied the knot after dating for more than five years. The pair filed for a marriage license in Oklahoma on July 1, nine months after announcing their engagement. The singers were first confirmed to be dating in November 2015 after meeting on set of 'The Voice.' Stefani was previously married to Gavin Rossdale and they split after 13 years in 2015. The couple has three children together. Shelton was previously married to his first wife, Kaynette Williams, from 2003-2006. He later married fellow country star Miranda Lambert in 2011. Shelton and Lambert went their separate ways in 2015 after being married for four years.

When you take off your rose tinted glasses you find that the life you thought was gold turned out to be cheap and plastic, it kills something inside of you, stop believing in fairy tales, rose arched cottages, but it also sets you free. Gavin is from my country and he is an absolute bell end, for pissing on his marriage vows, I do not know who Blake is other than he is tall and extremely handsome, and he sings country, so on paper this shouldn't work but paper is fragile it can shred it can disintegrate, just like the love you thought you had but was infact holding together with spit. Now these two have got the fairy tale and I also believe it will last because it was so unexpected. Congratulations to you both.

Guess you haven’t seen the many pictures captured of Blake in his regular “uniform” whether he’s in LA or Oklahoma. It’s always the same baggy faded jeans and big black vented shirt and ball cap. He cleans up well when he is going to be on TV or getting married, but most of the time it’s the scruffy beard and black shirt and jeans. And guess what? Gwen loves him just like that and doesn’t try to change him even though she’s into fashion.
That’s what true love is-accepting one another as is and respecting the differences. Blake still lives in small town Oklahoma, hunts, fishes, farms. He’s always done a lot of pop country music. Remember “Home”? It was a cover of a Michael Buble song for heaven’s sake. “Footloose” was a cover of a Kenny Loggins song. All of those were done a long time ago and are more pop than anything he’s done recently. Your complaint about Blake is not valid.
