I had the exact same problem with my daughter she never burnt when I took her on holiday but as soon as she was older and went by herself or with scouts she wanted to to wear bikinis but she now in her 20s and been travelling she realised it’s not worth it and just won’t go brown she she’s got an adult UV suit now and will wear it
