1.语言交流上的限制：上海是中国的经济中心，会说英语的人更多，而北京包括其他城市能用英语流畅沟通的很少。如果您第一站是上海，我相信上海的朋友能非常详细的指导您如何只用一台手机就可以进行购物、打车、点餐等等，未来在中国的生活将非常方便。如果您第一站是北京，我只能用手语帮助您了；
2.文化理解上的限制：上海有东方文化的底蕴，也能发现西方文化的影子，建筑也更现代化。如果第一站去了上海，在感受中国文化带来冲击的同时，也伴有亲切之感，这更有助于理解中国。而北京更偏传统，如果第一站是北京，文化上的冲击显然更强；
3.北京安检更严格：安检越严格，不也意味着生活越安全吗？北京是中国的政治中心，这种严格是一视同仁的，并非针对外国游客，外省游客到北京也是同样严格的。毕竟中国是仅次于印度的世界大国，首都如果出现治安问题，可是要登上国际新闻的。
