A girl I like goes to a "church" like this. I can't bring her to our Church a lot, but she wants to start coming to the Church I go to. She understands something is wrong, but know exactly what it is. These false churches sicken me
I used to go to Crossroads in eastgate. I felt that God was not in that church. Especially when the pastor Brian Tome had a “beer with the pastor” event during service. He also said a few things that were unbiblical. To see how much farther they fell, kicking bibles, it’s despicable. I’m glad I found a sound, biblical church.

This kind of craziness and other worldly silliness is what got me out of the protestant churches, and I converted to Eastern Orthodox Christianity. I believe in salvation by grace through faith in Christ alone, but I could no longer worship in the heterodox churches, because they were becoming more and more worldly and ridiculous. The Eastern Orthodox Church existed way before the protestant reformation did

We must separate ourselves from the Mortal Delusion(s) of our Adversary, the World Mind and it's mortal thoughts....
The Christ Within asks one thing of us:
Crucify the Belief in a Me Separate and Apart from the Immortal, Omnipresent Spirit of God, as there is no more Glorious a Demonstration than the Transformation from mortal sense to Spiritual Immortality....
The massive wall we have built shielding us from our truth lies in intellectual concepts, also known as Graven Images of Mortality. What is of God is Infinite, and what is not of God is an Appearance of a False Image where Only God is....

The only preacher that I have ever found that teaches the Bible chapter by chapter and verse by verse is called Shepherd's Chapel with Pastor Arnold Murray, and he is on UA-cam under Shepherd's Chapel. I have been studying with him since 2007. He passed away, but his teaching is all on UA-cam. Thanks be to God. I was wondering if anyone else has a pastor or teacher on here that teaches the Bible in-depth like that?

People are drunk with devil spirit ,and bring such unworthy acts ! I hate it . The Holy God would have destroyed them in a moment but for His longsuffering and grace .
Our very existence is because of Jesus. It enrages me and can only imagine how infuriated God is. Jesus warns us numerous times to not be led astray by false teachings of those who claim they come in Jesus name. They’re wolves in sheep’s clothing. The blood of many people is on their hands. These people are like the very high priests who mocked Jesus. It’s up to us who God has appointed to warn others. Jesus said to spread the gospel. How can people come to know Jesus if we don’t let Jesus shine in us?
Improper worship IS dangerous. It might cause God to do....nothing.

I used to worship like that until I muted the Christian concert and realized that looks no different than a secular concert the only difference is the words. Don’t just read the word live the word and if it looks like the world it’s not of God
That is immature as is their theology.

God allows these churches because its what these people want. When God reveals Truth and the people call it legalism and then grieve the holy spirit by mistaking conviction for condemnation...God "hands them over to follow the desires of their own hearts." See below...it says these teachers are in response to what THE PEOPLE WANT.

Just to be sure: Church is not a disco, but a holy place where good, serious, religious people worship God. To mock Jesus Christ, the holy son of the almighty God is an unforgiveable sin and stupidity at the same time and should be punishable by law as it is an insult to the true believers plus God himself. These stupid acts shouldn't exist at all, but if anyone dares to do these, then at least do as far away from a church as possible, but while doing so, please remember God see what you do and sooner or later punishment will come and it is fair.

Maybe we should recite the Lord's prayer before any church service begins. I would expect God to hear the prayer, and help us to worship Him in Spirit. We can only hope
I guess you're the 🐝 in my bonnet, hehe, but we can understand principles for how God wants to be worshipped from the descriptions of God's expectations for the Israelites. So while we don't need to literally wear the clothes they were expected to wear, or take a period of days prior to Sunday to begin purifying ourselves, etc., we ought not to wear casual everyday clothes, and we ought to treat the gathering of believers for corporate worship with respect.
It all has to do with what falls under "fearing" (reverencing and respecting) the Lord. That's something that's been nearly entirely lost in Western culture, and it's one of the many ways we can see that Western churches fail to put God first on the day that's supposed to be set aside for worshipping Him.

There is one very simple way to know if what you believe to be true is of God.....
Is it Infinite, Immortal, Perfect, and Always New....??
If it is not, then it is not of God. Therefore, religious ideology is not of God because it is none of these things!!

His dancing before the Lord while bringing the Ark into Jerusalem does not mean that he otherwise did not follow the expectations for reverence God had set up for the people of Israel on the Sabbath.
