- Nothing brings me more joy than a perfect fried chicken sandwich. In this last episode of this three part series featuring unique takeouts in the city, I'll be learning all about how the kitchen and the bar can work beautifully together, and trying out some amazing cocktail pairings from Double Chicken Please.

It wouldn't be the same. These particular people are what makes the food the way it is. It's not like McDonald's where you can put anybody in front of a fryer and dunk frozen fries and a timer tells you when they're done. These people are tasting everything and making micro adjustments each and every time. Their pallets tell them what to do.

Bottle drinks are 1.5X the amount. So each will be around $18
Also the service charge for the sandwiches (just like most restaurants)
I still can't get used to the high service charge in the states.

omg they are so intentional and thoughtful about everything they do at the restaurant/bar - the entire process is so meticulous and really interesting to learn about! also I'm loving the Taiwanese flavors they're bringing to the prototypical American fried chicken sando! (salted egg yolk mayo?!) really wanna try this once the pandemic's over and I can visit NY again :') esp the chicken liver mousse which is liken to the baguette and pate I'd always eat growing up in my Viet household!

I think so far this is my favorite restaurant. Due to how much thought they put into it. From the packaging, the drinks, and the food. Also the three of them seem to work with each other very well.

I love the way you review each food. Consistent, continuous, no awkward pause, honest, informative, a little bit of comedy. I could really tell that you know what you are doing and what you are saying. If you have a script then bravo! It didn't feel you memorized it at all. Unlike other food reviews, oh dear! I could really tell that they don't know what they are saying or should I say "repetitive" they just keep on saying like "juicy, luxurious, spicy" is that it?.
Continue your channel. I'm just hoping that you will feature NEW BUSINESSES because we all know that they really are fighting hard in this pandemic, featuring them will really help their business especially if they have a food they made from their heart.

I'm not from New York, or even the US, but I love what they're doing here, with showcasing various restaurants that are adapting to these trying times. It's great to expose this to a wider audience - the food and drinks look great, and I wish I could try them myself! If I ever go back to New York again, I'll definitely be looking up some of the places from this series to see if I can visit.
