I really love how the OPs progress for Link Joker. -Vanguard Fight, outside of the ominous sound when the logo appeared to foreshadow, was a very casual, energetic, and slice-of-like opening, which reflected the lighter tone the series went back to. It was very missed since Ren appeared Season 1 and the main mystery was already established in Asia Circuit. -This one, Infinite∞REBIRTH, starts out the same way; very casual in terms of animation and makes you think it will have the same vibe, but the music itself feels more sad. Sure enough, the opening starts to change to become more serious and dark for the remaining 30 seconds, showing how quickly things are going south in the narrative. -Finally, Break Your Spell feels full on apocalyptic and somber with its instrumentals. This is when our heroes are at their lowest point, feeling the most betrayed by Kai, and the Reversed start to grow in size. But the lyrics are about how despite everything, everyone is still giving it their all to make sure their planet goes back to the way it was and so they can save their friends. After listening to the last two I'm a little upset only Vanguard Fight was used for the dub...
