There is no strategy except spending few thousands on the game to pull 30 waters weapons for your team. You have my support posting this. You helped many of us. (normal people)
The way I see it, is no different than the bug when the latest banner came out, a bug in the game. I’m when people saw the banner not working properly they realize a compensation was coming, so they used resources and got it all back. This time around is a bug that anyone can use for the time being. Is not the players fault that the game has way too many issues.
yea it's scummy how I saw people gloating about how they saved up all their f2p orbs and "invested" in compensation which they got but shouldn't have gotten.
This is making me NEED to finish Shiva Very Hard mode, NOW. I'm definetely going to try this, I just need to level up my Tifa to make sure she is ready for the Shiva VH to do that MAtk down. I would switch summons but I already filled in everything else for Shiva and don't want to waste materials, although this is very tempted to do. I can't decide haha

@@ZorinNephalemz So right before she goes into her Sigil phase, save your atb bar and have everyone cured to nearly full. if needed, switch between def and attack stance to negate some damage. if you're still dying then your hp total may be to low. (can also have one sub weapon on each character with a magic def or ice def for a bit of help too) I did it with CP 119k and my Seph was only level 48
As long as, One dps deal 10k+ ( I suggest Physical Att not Magical). In case, u don’t have Cloud’ Water Pot, just use Watera Blow deal at least 7,5K + also fine) Healer also spam MD and PD down at least 2 bar (save max ATB before boss fight, I mean at wave 2 before 3. Then, suck him with the MD down at the very start) Lucia or Barret spam MT down at least 2 bar ( don’t forget Watera Blow deal at least 3,5K +) Max Hell fire and Diamond Dust( use both when Ramuh Summon the two chargers) use Summon immediately before Ramuh cast Magical Def and to stop Ramuh charging the lighting gauge = win 😒don’t use Auto fight, take advantage of Manual
Looks like you can trigger this by using a limit break as well (instead of the menu button). Accidentaly triggered this by using Somersault for debuff, and then swapping to Tifa for mag atk debuff.
heyy , just do what i did if you dont have any water weapons . use tifa and barret to get that spicy high def down and dps him down with water blow . i recorded it for reference

thb i doubt they would punish anyone who used the bug, if they wanted to punish people for their poor programming they would have done so in the mako reactor event. Instead of resetting the scores of anyone who used the magic atk glitch they just encouraged other people to do it instead LMFAO. Plus, how do they know it didn't happen on accident.. maybe i got a phone call during the transition and it force paused the game but i needed to swap to aerith to heal.. it would be a mistake to punish people for stuff they can't prove
There's also a glitch that freezes enemies after their sigil vulnerability (interrupted) state. It's happened to me a few times but I have no idea how it happened. If anyone knows and wants to share that would great!
unfortunately i dont have mythril rod...the only mdef party buff weapon i have is glenn's hardcore squad, but he is only lv30.......😭😭i tried many times with red13's lunatic high , but it just doesnt cut it being so slow to charge

You won't get banned for their fuck ups, don't worry about it. First of all, there is no way for them to know you've used this trick, second of all this is something you could have discovered casually on your first attempt, why the hell would they punish you? It's their responsibility if this glitch is in the game, so don't stress it, really.
Yes, read about it today. But for me, it worked only after I reset the game. Ironically, I still lost for lacking on damage and healing. But, more importantly, can you please explain your Young Sephy water build. I built him using the Shinra Blade (water dmg 30%), 15k+ MATK and 3 star Watera. Yet, am doing less than 2k damage after MDef debuf ! Any advice, please?

Yeah, very easy to survive. Especially after 50% health when he start debuf your mdef and thunderlance you for 6k hp + stun. Even with this bug it's still very hard fight. You should have big amount of health, good healler mdefup and matkdown. Then you can defeat him.
for the amount of times the AI has thrown winable fights, I don't blame anyone for using this lol. AI likes to use 4atb water sword (amongst others) over 3 atb water materias during sigils -_-
I beat him with 150k power using barret, cloud & aerith. my characters are not lvl 55 yet so u can avoid the judgment bolt( second summon) by doing dmg without any recovery and saving the limit break, once ramuh make 2 creature summons is when u use the limit break/summons ifrit shiva) to destroy both creatures and then u can recover from the 2 damages he gonna do after and then is coming the second time to break the shield and is gonna be the last time that u can beat him cuz otherwise he gonna use judgement bolt and u need a decent magic atk decrease for it if u wanna beat it as f2p. I gonna made a video for it in spanish version. This game is just strategy😊
Defo need to remember what Ramuh does in each phrase and plan ahead for that. Like if you know his about time for sigil break, keep the ATB and break that instead. If you do everything right and still get one shot, it might be time to wait and increase more power for DPS.

The whole charge system is gone. So during sigil phase his moves are irrelevant and don't charge the bar and during his one shot judgement bolt, the bar is gone so his judgement bolt does normal dmg.

@derjero Tifa Is a good choice to reduce magic dmg and somersault to reduce pdef for cloud. Lucia serpent eater is great here. Bald eagle is just a glorified patk weapon as ice resist won't work here at all. So Lucia with a good ob serpent eater is smart choice. Just bring some aoe summon for the adds like dd and Hf to take those adds our quick. The sigil break is really important so serpent eater and that diamond break weapon is great. Phys Def down is so important too
Sephiroth has a similar bug that if you interrupt him you continue to hit him even though the interrupt bar has been depleted and he stays in interrupt mode. The issue is, all those bugs may lead to account suspensions. In most MMOs when people used such exploits, despite this being a developer issue, players get punished.
I feel you with 170k. I was lucky and kept pulling her Tiger Fangs and got it to 11 star so I'm trying to level her up and use her to do magic attack down with those.
Didn't know about this, I already maxed out Ramuh statstream today with Lucia, Cloud and Aerith as f2p even completed the very hard ones. I must say the drop rate for a 5-star weapon is insanely low, I only got 1 drop for Lucia. The rest was just 3-4 stars 😂

Payne, at this point I feel that if you abuse the bug you are more likely to get rewarded for "encountering" the bug than you are to be rewarded for not abusing it. The reason I didn't get 36 k gems for matt was because I went to the stamp card beforehand so it didn't come up when I pressed draw, the reason the others did was because they went to change once it came up and pressed draw afterwards. The message clearly said "page 2" and after you adjusted it it was all the same from then on for all of us. Basically, if you knew the bug was there and went to stamp beforehand you got nothing and if you knew it was there and went to stamp after it popped up you got everything. Funnily it rewarded only those that went for both costumes anyway so it literally didn't make any difference for anyone.
I don't think they will, they could patch that clitch, but I don't think they start to punish players using clitch in their game. They haven't even patch cactuar clitch yet, so I'm not sure they care enough.
Be warned, developers do not like when you show how to use an exploit. Frequently bans are handed out for just showing how to do it. I don't know if Square will do it, but just figured id warn you. Ive seen Blizzard and Plarium both hand out bans to content creators for showing how to do it in videos. Just an FYI

As far as I know SE has never banned content creators for doing this. This is also not the type of exploit they'd ban people for as it doesn't really revolve around the gacha system. They'll just fix it and move on.
Based on their compensate history, if i do the gltich and beat very hard Ramuh by "accident", they will let me keep the victory and compensate me with crystals for making my fight with Ramuh less fun hahaha.

The thing that sucks the most about these is that they can be very important and necessary for better rankings, whether it's your solo Crisis or for event dungeons, etc. They also don't sweeten the pot for these, as they all have the same type of potency % when capped and the weapons are similar, meaning the increased power is just a prevention, instead of making the fight just interesting but reasonable in stats. It'd be quite a shame too if they took this kind of thing seriously, but they don't mind losing over a thousand dollars in profit from people exploiting a non issue bug with the banner. Can't offend the whales I suppose.

I've known about this glitch for quite some time and you can replicate it with other enemies as well, although not in the same way. But I didn't know it worked like that against Ramuh.

It should be patched. We shouldn't rely on people using exploits. When f2p are running around with judgement bolt at low lvls during dungeon ranking events and are being reported, it will get way worse

Don't need a MATK down weapon to complete shiva vh. just need defaith and be able to bring down her orange bar every time

hehe yea that's one way to do it! from all my videos, one thing I noticed is many folks don't even have the debuff weapons.
I'm always afraid of doing things like this. Dokkan would always ban people for this stuff, especially group events like their tournaments.
I finally beat Shiva very hard. I am working on Ramuh for the event. Even with maxed out characters and weapons he is a challenge without this hack.

Sure! I just built him with 1.9k matk and using edged wings and nameless with watera. Nothing special. With mdef down it seems to go okay with me

As far as I know SE has never banned content creators for doing this. This is also not the type of exploit they'd ban people for as it doesn't really revolve around the gacha system.

Based on their compensate history, if i do the gltich and beat very hard Ramuh by "accident", they will let me keep the victory and compensate me with crystals for making my fight with Ramuh less fun hahaha.

The thing that sucks the most about these is that they can be very important and necessary for better rankings, whether it's your solo Crisis or for event dungeons, etc. They also don't sweeten the pot for these, as they all have the same type of potency % when capped and the weapons are similar, meaning the increased power is just a prevention, instead of making the fight just interesting but reasonable in stats.
It'd be quite a shame too if they took this kind of thing seriously, but they don't mind losing over a thousand dollars in profit from people exploiting a non issue bug with the banner. Can't offend the whales I suppose.

I've known about this glitch for quite some time and you can replicate it with other enemies as well, although not in the same way. But I didn't know it worked like that against Ramuh.

It should be patched. We shouldn't rely on people using exploits. When f2p are running around with judgement bolt at low lvls during dungeon ranking events and are being reported, it will get way worse

I don't like cheating in anything. Has nothing to do with simping but if I'm not ready to beat this yet then I'm not looking for glitches or bugs to get it done. Everything I've done at a low cp, I've done through real strategy
