during those track work, would the T4 train end up using platform 9&10 in Redfern? Also when it goes through the City Circle, which platform would it use in Central on the way back to the south?

I believe they would have used platforms 7 & 8 at Redfern (same as the T3 services). At Central, those services likely would have came into 19 after running around the inner city circle

@@transportforsydneyvlogs7258 wonder if the T4 enter museum then become T2 run to Leppington or Homebush before returning in those trackwork days? With computer help wonder if it is hard work to come out with a new pattern?

T4 trains using the inner City Circle use platforms 9 & 10, with outer City Circle using 7 & 8.
T4 trains using the Harbour Bridge use platforms 7 & 8.
SCO trains using the City Circle (inner, during late night track work) or use platforms 5 & 6.
      This is at Redfern.
At Central, City Circle T4 or SCO would use 19 or 22, and Harbour Bridge would use 18.
In late night trackwork generally, SCO uses City Circle (inner/outer) alongside BMT/CCN, and T4 uses North Shore.
In early morning weekend trackwork, SCO uses North Shore and T4 uses City Circle (outer).
