This is your song. There aren't many like it, but this one is yours. This song is your best friend. It is your life. You must thrash to it as you must thrash your life.
This and Maladapted are, in my opinion, the strongest tracks on the new album by far. All of them are bangers, but they're by far the most well written and relatable. Absolutely bang-up work, y'all. Didn't ever expect HtS to become my favorite band, active or not, but here we are.
I remember getting Human Target Practice on random play years ago, liking it then at some point I explored a little further into their music and now they're by far the band I('ve) listen(ed) to the most.
the vocals at 2:14 are phenomenal. one of my favorite tracks on this album beisdes feeble words. definetly my second favorite album by them along with wake.
Just saw hail in El Paso. First time seeing them I was 17, now 22, such a beautiful experience. They love El Paso and gave us the first listen of this one live, fucking beautiful
I told myself I shouldn't care Care about what I do different Yeah, I could improve if I could just Find the motivation but get stuck 60-minute session blocks Saying that I'm changing when I'm not But I always mean well I really do Only have to justify the truth That I tell I'll never change I am the way I fluctuate Never the same Call it the way I cope With how and where I go I'm still a liar I still deceive The one I do it most, though, with is me I quit the dark shit Years ago But I'm still addicted to the same ways I know I'll never change I am the way I fluctuate Never the same Call it the way I cope With how and where I go Countess hours spent in repetition Weigh the pros and cons of my decisions Countless hours spent on doing only what I want My heart I'll never change But I accept my indecision I'll never change I am the way I fluctuate Never the same Call it the way I cope With how and where I go Can't sit still and never ever want to have to
Listening through the album for the first time now. I'm only 4 tracks in and feel comfortable saying that this is THE best song. We'll see how that holds up. I am eagerly awaiting for when I finally get to Tithe. For some reason, that song title caught my eye the most. Every time I listen to an album now, I will read through the song titles beforehand and see which title sticks out the most to me. So far, my track record is fairly good, with several of my stand-out song titles ending up as my favorite track. I called it correctly with "Polka Dot Dobbins" by Dance Gavin Dance on their album Jackpot Juicer (still one of the greatest songs I have ever heard 😤 I am going to see them live in 4 days- and bro... If they play that damn song, I am going FULL flobby boppin in the goopy goblin pit like an absolute madlad). Another one I called was "One Last Time, Like Hypothermia" by Royal Coda on their album To Only A Few At First (How the hell can you NOT like that chorus??) And then again, with "Suffocator" by Gatherers on their album ( mutilator. ). Please... Please let Tithe be a banger. 🙏 EDIT: I just heard it... I called it hahahaha It's the best one. The. Best. 😂
if i could claim a song, it would be this one. i love this song. i love hail the sun.

Frfr ALL their albums bussin 😎👌
That tension and release at 2:36, the way it ends so abruptly(like a therapy session)...so good
Listening to Hail The Sun is my therapy.

One of my favs on this release! The transition into Maladapted is prefect!
This song makes me feel so good!!! Lyrical words of wisdom! We are our own worst critics, accepting who we are with no regrets!! ❤❤❤

This whole album dude. Just fuckin incredible. These guys don't miss
it's just... beautiful, never listened to them, should buy an album and find a play-through of this song
Best song of the album
I love this song. Favorite track on the album.
My favourite on the album!
I told myself I shouldn't care
Care about what I do different
Yeah, I could improve if I could just
Find the motivation but get stuck
60-minute session blocks
Saying that I'm changing when I'm not
But I always mean well
I really do
Only have to justify the truth
That I tell
I'll never change
I am the way I fluctuate
Never the same
Call it the way I cope
With how and where I go
I'm still a liar
I still deceive
The one I do it most, though, with is me
I quit the dark shit
Years ago
But I'm still addicted to the same ways I know
I'll never change
I am the way I fluctuate
Never the same
Call it the way I cope
With how and where I go
Countess hours spent in repetition
Weigh the pros and cons of my decisions
Countless hours spent on doing only what I want
My heart
I'll never change
But I accept my indecision
I'll never change
I am the way I fluctuate
Never the same
Call it the way I cope
With how and where I go
Can't sit still and never ever want to have to
How the fucking fuck does this band find the words of how i feel better than i can.
Best song off the album , hail the sun has the most underrated guitarists, gladly throw down for an instrumental album
every instrument including vocals were all at 100% loved this album so much, this being one my favorites overall from hts
