Once I heard someone say "Happy people don't leave mean comments." and it's so true! People how are happy with their lives, at peace with themselves, won't waste time online hating on people. I completely get the broken arm analogy because I am a breast cancer survivor. Most of the time I don’t feel like one because I didn’t need chemo or radiation, but still had a single mastectomy. I said to my cousin who is a full blown survivor I don’t know how you did it, and she said to me during my recovery, “What are you talking about?? You’re doing it now!!” That definitely helped me feel better. No matter what you’re going through you can do it. Keep moving forward!! ❤

I’ve followed you for 7-8 years now and what I most love about you is the snippets of your humanness. Just speaking to your audience about life and things that have depth. I have been a silent follower for a long time but I have to say I love your more raw, vulnerable content. For years, like probably close to 10 years, I would NEVER leave my house without a full face of makeup. Even if I was just running out for 5 min. So to see that other people have insecurities and imperfections too, especially people who others expect to look on all the time, has helped me let go of the need to use makeup as a security blanket and have fun with it again.

I’ve been watching you for years and think of you as my internet big sister. I’ve been struggling with allowing myself to feel joy in the things that I love like makeup, shopping etc. It just feels like all we talk about online is excessive buying and overconsumption when the world needs less things and more healing. I watch all of your videos but would enjoy a chit chat get ready with me where you talk about your healing journey or just normal life or makeup techniques instead of the products. Oh I'm totally with you Tati. I have also been overworking and pushing big projects along. The stress and pre-period depresso got me good... I cried for most of my work day yesterday and managed to hold it together for my meeting. We are here for all the no makeup, messy bun, sweater content. Very relatable.

As a mom of a special needs son who is 26 years old I can relate to how you feel. I have good and bad days and still advocate for him all the time. I keep thinking things will get better as far as advocating but it just gets harder. Life can be challenging and at times I wonder how much longer can I do it. I think for as long as I physically can. Mentally is an even bigger challenge. Tati you sharing how u feel is a good thing and I definitely think it can be therapeutic. I absolutely love the natural lighting. The studio lights are too bright. But that’s just me. Could you zoom in on when the make up you’re trying is having an issue? Like the patchy blush, it’d be helpful to see what it looks like.

I love it when you show the messy. It's real and makes me feel better about my messy moments. I work from home and was still in my pjs at 7 pm the other night. My husband was like, "wanna go get a burger?" And then I realized what a mess I was! I have teenagers and work and marriage and a house to keep up with. They are all blessings but can be overwhelming sometimes. I think when people are real about it, they can see they have messy days, too. I prefer real. There will always be haters. We can't avoid them because they will always find something wrong no matter what. That's just what they do. So, be real and ignore the haters.

People have a lot of nerve when they don't have to face the person they are commenting about. Everyone has feelings that most do not know about. I wish the general consensus would think before they speak. You never know when your words will have an impact, so why not make those words kind & positive? I have been a long standing viewer and something my sister always says to me is "Not your monkeys, not your circus" Dont even give those people a moment of your precious time and energy. I'm a true Tati supporter, while she didn't post, I would watch old videos and like or post on them. I was thrilled when she returned. I just can't wait until she starts another make up line. Truly she has saved me so many mistakes, and bad purchases, I love her dupe videos as limited budget, and not always wearing cosmetics I tend to not use up product before it expires.

Don’t apologize for having real emotions. You are a highly sensitive person who the world becomes too much for sometimes. That is how God made you. He loves that about you and so do we. Life is harder for highly sensitive people. You don’t have to preform for us. You definitely don’t have to kill yourself trying to stay on top of the beauty world. Anytime I go through a period of extreme stress or trauma, I always have this “recoil” period after the fact or near the end where I fall into a bit of a funk. During the trauma you’re having to get through it and you’re running on adrenaline, holding your breath and trying to stand really still so that you can hold yourself together without spiraling. But after or towards the end you are finally looking back going, “whoa, that just happened” and it’s mind blowing. Makes you sad and you’re finally processing it all. I think that’s what’s happening here. You’re finally feeling the feels. It’s a good thing.

I'm horrified to hear people would be negative about showing up online without makeup or completely put together. I would love so much if you showed up in you "Muppet Era" and let the makeup be fun and exciting to set the tone for your day, because that's how real life happens.
