I 100% agree, I just filmed a video right before this one on the Toyota AE 86 and riding in these old Toyotas are so much fun! Definitely the golden Era of Japanese cars!!
The auto transmission's a bummer, but damn that thing's a cutie.
I know eventually he wants to get another one to modify, but this one was just too clean to start cutting up and swapping things hahah
@@JapaneseMinitruck I have 2 project AW11's, one track shell with no interior, one nice street shell I had to buy a new engine for. So I love these cars, but damn I wish I could start with a clean car like this!
This is sweet! AW11 is my favorite car of all time. Surprised to see one so pristine up here. New England weather tends to rust out cars bad; you don't normally see a lot of cars from this era on the road.
I agree! I've never seen one this clean, usually up here they're pretty rough, this one did start its life out in Florida!

thanks for the recommendation! I'll have to do a little looking around and see if I can find anybody with one! I have a couple cool up-and-coming ideas for cars to film, there's gonna be a shortage of them lol still working on the quality itself especially with sound, but I'll figure it all out eventually!
mine is 87 too , best car love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they are super cool! I personally would love to build one someday!
One thing to note is that the Automatic with overdrive is actually better if you take some highway, the manual gear ratio being quite short for highway (you will be above 4.000 RPM brrrrrr ).

nice car. but why would someone hold the mic so low it doesnt pick the voice up properly
unfortunately, it wasn't that, I've been battling with figuring out the audio for videos, and I had turned the volume down in editing to make it all sound because it was too loud, but for some reason once uploaded to UA-cam, it was way too quiet in some parts, if I watch it on my phone, it sounds fine, but if I put it on a TV, the volume drops so low, definitely saddened by the audio flaw, but all the clips are gone and there's nothing I'm able to do now
That yellow paint isn't original, it's the wrong shade
