Numb was the very first song by Linkin Park that I intentionally listened to(their music played on the radio before that but I never really paid attention, I didn't care about "adult music" at the time) and it's been one of my favorite songs since. It struck me on a personal level, and sometimes it still does, and I'll always remember and love it for that.
