Instead of just using my hands to press the water out after rolling I put it on the floor and step on it. I go back and forth across the piece. If water comes through to the top of the towel I repeat rolling and stepping with a second towel.
wait, when knitting a project that requires multiple pieces to be joined (like a sweater/jacket/cardigan), is it better to block the pieces individually or is it best to block the pieces as a whole? i'm currently knitting cardigan and i'm clueless on whether i should block the individual pieces or block the joined project as a whole
I'm knitting a pullover with 4 pieces right now. In my pattern it says to block the pieces before joining them. I don't know, if that's always necessary 😊

I use my washing machine’s spin only cycle to get most of the water out.
