This is a very frustrating achievement guide. Things are hardly labeled correctly and there is no indication of which quests will unlock the necessary side-quests needed for certain collectibles.

I will label them in order (first side quest to last) as you get certain side quests before others. The first side quest you can get is backstory. Backstory Side Mission - Carnage Hall Poster - This is on the back of a statue with a horse in the northeast corner of Carnage Hall. 00:05:30 Backstory Side Mission - Astrid Cancelled - Newspaper Article - On the south side of Carnage Hall some escalators lead down underground. Before going down, turn around and run straight back to the wall to find this under a small roof on a stack of tires. 00:07:13 Backstory Side Mission - Meet Astrid - Magazine Cover - This is found in the chapel on the west side of Carnage Hall. Climb up and enter the chapel through an opening at the top. Drop down and shimmy through an opening in the wall to find this on a table. 00:08:32 Backstory Side Mission - Arena Combat Rules - From the collectible (Hospital Patient Card) located in the metro station, drop down and this is poster is posted up on one of the pillars in the middle of the room. 00:10:58 100% for Backstory and now leading to the second side quest you can get, the only hope. The Only Hope Side Mission - The Fights #2 - Ogar bs Stamma - This is found in the basement of Stamma’s house. You will have to go here in order to retrieve Ogar’s armor. As soon as you enter basement, the tape is on your immediate right on a shelf next to a computer tower. This quest is found by visiting Ogar in the metro station after you survive the night of terror. 00:11:44 100% for the only hope, cause it only has one collectible. Now progress in the tournament until Astrid contacts you for the side quest The Gilded Age. The Gilded Cage Side Mission - Skumbuckets on Parade! Skullface’s Debt List - While following the objective marker, it’ll lead you to a door you need to lockpick to open. As soon as you open it, look to your right to find this on a small crate in front of a long red couch. This is the same room with a bar on the other side with a mattress behind it. 00:04:27 The Gilded Cage Side Mission - Skullface’s Rest Day - While sneaking through the area AFTER opening skullfaces safe, this is found on your immediate left as you enter the room with a ring in the middle. It is on a red seat. 00:04:48 The Gilded Cage Side Mission - Principles of Humanity - Jack Matt’s Letter to Astrid #2 - This is found on the piano in the room you drop into after going through the vents. 00:05:00 100% for that gilded cage mission. which leads to the last one, the portrait of a hangover. Which cant be completed until you colllect them all. So I won't instrruct that

Do I have to get to a certain part in the story to unlock the door at 3:59? I'm still on "Fame or infamy" but have already done 2 side quests, and a lot of things in this mission but that door is closed for me. Getting a little worried already that I missed something for that door to open. EDIT: Yep, you have to be on the "Road to Perdition" story mission. Literally had to do one more task lol.
after you become champion there's a tape in your room called 'confessions of the truth'. You will also not get the Aiden card if you dob Adisia into Severus. I didn't get this card and still got the achievment though.
It's recommended you have finished the campaign or at least half it but no, it's not required. Right after finishing the prologue and reaching Villedor you instantly have access to the DLC.

What about tape 5? i have all tape from original DL2 and the 4 tapes you showed in the video. but it says i miss one tape. (67/68). i have both audiophile and connoisseur achivements tho..

There's collectibles they added for chapter 2 I believe. There's like a cat charm or smth u get from getting I think 7 collectibles? Idk, gotta do it myself still. Don't stress it, just look into it 🙃

For the Portrait of a Hangover side quest when I first talked to Adisa I chose the option tell on him so then I had to go to the guard and get the first collectable. Went around and got all the other ones. Returned back the guard and I didn't get the final collectible. :(
Whats more stupid is that Techland did this in the main game as well...yet due to a lot of fan backlash, they had to patch the game so that missable collectibles were available under other means (usually progressing far enough in the story). So what do they do? Go ahead and put missable collectibles in the DLC too. So dumb.

Be wary of these: The Guilded Cage - given by Astrid - 3 collectibles in this area which is closed off after completing. Backstory -given by Rune - requires you to find 4 mementos to complete, can only be picked up in this side quest The Only Hope - given by Ogar - go see Ogar when at Carnage Hall after he calls you. He will give you the quest, he will send you to an apartment in Villador which has a Tape. Portrait of a Hangover - given by Severus - occasionally he will give the choice to chose another side quest instead of taking part in the main tournament. Be sure to accept these side quests. This quest will send you back to Villador for 7 more mementos.
