People need to realize that every character in genshin has the ability to beat the game and be good. Some are just insanely broken, which makes the other look bad, but they are actually all good.

You can literally double vaporize with Xingqiu’s E during her burst (which turns into quad vape with Sac Sword) and quadruple melt with Chongyun’s burst. Don’t even get me started on Childe’s E… She is literally a banned character from one shot speedruns because she can make literally any boss fight take less than a second.
u cant melt or vaporize HER ult to do more dmg, same thing with ayaka. melt ayaka doesnt work because you get like 3 tick melts. u cant vaporize or melt amber burst because its too fast

Amber's ult is actually the best enabler for Xingqiu's E, especially with Elegy for the End. What you do is use XQ's E (with Sac sword ofc), Bennett Ult, Amber Ult then XQ's E again. You can also add Sucrose/Kazuha. The idea behind here is that Fiery Rain applies pyro so fast in succession, Xingqiu would be able to double vape his E.
i actually really like amber. baron bunny helps in distracting the ruin guard so you can shoot the eye and make it fall, when you use anemo traveller, you can increase so much damage!! i main anemo/geo traveller and i love using amber, beidou and rosaria/kaeya in a team
Watehek, same.. I use all mc's elements, kaeya and amber and they all are nuts ( sorry lisa, I built her too but all 4 starters in a same team doesn't suit my playstyle well..) The dps is mostly mc or sometimes kaeya and Amber's chillin hitting 20k non reaction charged if the target is far.. So, I use anyone in 4th slot, maybe bennet (buff), xingqiu (vape/freeze/electrocharged), jean (heal), rosaria (she's c6 so double cryo/physical res shred/superconduct).. Idk, sometimes ayaka or childe cus why not?
Fun fact: Amber has the fastest pyro application in game (her ult). So she can potentially help Xingqiu proc vaporize on both of his E slashes (works with Sacrificial Sword too)
Her main issue is her E tbh, if it just had 1 more second for the explosion then she wouldnt be as bad so she could work better for reactions Also make the taunt better, idk if its a bug but the taunt isnt really worth it
she's rly good as a support with Elegy, not even a meme at that point with that build it's ACTUALLY the best option for max dmg for Hu Tao comps since u can swirl pyro easy now along with the EM and ATK boost, not to mention she enables double vape on Xingqiu which no one else can, definitely a very underrated character

Y'all are making want to raise her. My team comp rn kinda sucks but since I'm f2p and can't just waste primos for resin 💀 it's going to take awhile. They're all dps's well except for Xingqiu, and if you count Kaeya as a support... It's basically Xiao, Diluc, XQ, and Kaeya. I do have the characters I need for Xiao's team(Sucrose, Benny and Geo dad) but I'm kinda too lazy to build them 💀
The best way to build amber is as a support for xingqiu because her busts lasts long enough for him to quadruple vaporise his e (so long as xingqiu has sac sword)
20k normal and 54k with elemental reaction. At least for me. Other's defeat my result by a lot more...mainly because they can roll for artifact more due to whaling XD
Hi hi!! Another Amber main here, just gonna leave a few tips for playing Amber or anyone else that wants to raise her lol. If she's below C2 don't bother raising anything but her basic attacks, once she is C2 her baron bunny becomes alot more useful, some of the highest dmg I've seen from it is about 36k-50k. you basically wanna treat her like a mix between Ganyu and Yoimiya. Skyward and Amos are great 5 star bows for her and good 4 stars are Proto Crescent and Hamayumi (as long as you don't use her ult alot). Artifacts are still pretty limited, if you don't wanna think about it go 4pc Wanderers and if you want something else go for 4pc Shimenawa but just make sure to use her E before starting to attack and to not use her ult (this set also goes really well with Hamayumi). I've seen pyro Ambers, phys Ambers, baron bunny Ambers and ult support Ambers, so it really doesn't matter how u wanna play her, and that's why I find her so fun. Anyway I hope this helps anyone!!
as i have seen once repeating animation cancelling rapidly doing charged shot with double arrow was pretty strong she was like machine gunner instead of a archer
Ambers a really good support with elegy for hutao amd also her burst applies pyro so fast she can let xingqiu vape all 4 of his sac sword hits, i love my c2 amber LMAO she also hits 100k+ with baron bunny with the right buffs, pretty neat
I feel like a full crit build with 4p wanderer's would be quite good on her. Since headshots are always a crit, you can just ignore crit rate and stack crit dmg
I wish they'll put weak spots in every enemies tho. This will make Ganyu even more broken but like most ppl would just use her icicles instead and she's broken anyways.

i hope you can do the same with kaeya one day, he is an amazing dps if you invest in him! He's been my main since a year now and seeing him get better and better is so satisfying, I do 55k with his e and 13k per icycle and he has so much more potential since his artifacts still aren't the best. I really want to build amber too one day, you motivated me a lot to do that !

Ambers ult is really strong and also has a really strong pyro application so much so that you cna vape both the xq e and of you pair her up with elegy she will be god tier support
amber is pretty good with Hu Tao as her skill and ult will apply pyro(and increase atk%) that can be used to shred pyro resistance with VV, also if you use shimenawa on hu tao amber will also act as a battery.
Amber is the second best support for hu tao after xinque with the Elegy bow. And like, running ER with elegy is pog because Amber's burst can easily trigger the Elegy's passive.
For me who has a C4 Amber, I always wanted to have her Baron Bunny manual detonate to be automated in some way. In my head, her E can be held and she backdives and auto charge shots any Baron Bunny present on the field. I mean, in my head it looks amazing. Haha.

Amber is actually very viable in the early game as both main dps and support to somewhat of an extent that it's optimal. For dps you can play it safe against high-level enemies since she's a bow user and she combos really well with the starter team. And for support, she can provide taunt and also fast pyro application because her burst has a cheap energy cost. The problem is she really falls out once you get other characters that can fill her role in a much more efficient way like Xiangling and Bennet who are also 4-star pyro characters who can be both support and dps. Another factor is constellations as unlike all the other 4-stars, getting cons for Kaeya, Lisa and Amber is so hard that you might as well just not try. However, she really does come into play for players who can give her good investment like 5-star weapons and cons which are usually late game players and whales. All in all, she definitely deserves some praise. I'm feeling a light to a decent 6 on this one.
Amber is a fantastic support for Hu Tao with Elegy of the End! 4 piece Noblesse, she applies the elegy effect with her burst and then you can swirl pyro incredibly easily! Hu Tao/XQ/Amber/Kazuha is a fantastic team and might be Hu Tao's best team! Don't write her off, she's a great support
I recommend to build her as a sub dps where she only use E and ult,use nobleese on her,use stringless on her and pair her up with baal because she couldn’t really gain much energy from her E.
this made me "build" amber, basically not raise her from 20 and give her my klee artifacts, im amazed cause she did like 17k charged shot, but theres no way im using her in open world lmao
when the big cryo slime still has the shield, it'll go towards the baron bunny. but then once you destroy the shield, the slime will run away from the bunny i don't know why it's like that, but its just the mechanic - coming from an amber main :)
Stringless or Ode, 2p crimson, 2p noble, EM focus. Bunny to lure, foot shot, burst, couple charged shots, repeat. Pairs well with Fischl & Sucrose. C6 Bennett actually pairs well with her also.
C6 Amber haver here. C6 is actually nuts, you can run her with Jean and have there ults match up, not only that but you can make your character go super fast with the movement speed from C6 Amber and C2 jean.

Ambers ult is really strong and also has a really strong pyro application so much so that you cna vape both the xq e and of you pair her up with elegy she will be god tier support

amber is pretty good with Hu Tao as her skill and ult will apply pyro(and increase atk%) that can be used to shred pyro resistance with VV, also if you use shimenawa on hu tao amber will also act as a battery.
Amber is the second best support for hu tao after xinque with the Elegy bow.
And like, running ER with elegy is pog because Amber's burst can easily trigger the Elegy's passive.
For me who has a C4 Amber, I always wanted to have her Baron Bunny manual detonate to be automated in some way.
In my head, her E can be held and she backdives and auto charge shots any Baron Bunny present on the field. I mean, in my head it looks amazing. Haha.

Amber is actually very viable in the early game as both main dps and support to somewhat of an extent that it's optimal. For dps you can play it safe against high-level enemies since she's a bow user and she combos really well with the starter team. And for support, she can provide taunt and also fast pyro application because her burst has a cheap energy cost. The problem is she really falls out once you get other characters that can fill her role in a much more efficient way like Xiangling and Bennet who are also 4-star pyro characters who can be both support and dps. Another factor is constellations as unlike all the other 4-stars, getting cons for Kaeya, Lisa and Amber is so hard that you might as well just not try. However, she really does come into play for players who can give her good investment like 5-star weapons and cons which are usually late game players and whales.
All in all, she definitely deserves some praise. I'm feeling a light to a decent 6 on this one.
Amber is both a great dps and a great burst support, when I raise my Amber I plan on having her as a burst support!
I have an idea, summon on the standard banner until you get a starting character lol I feel that would be a pretty harsh punishment

Amber is a fantastic support for Hu Tao with Elegy of the End! 4 piece Noblesse, she applies the elegy effect with her burst and then you can swirl pyro incredibly easily! Hu Tao/XQ/Amber/Kazuha is a fantastic team and might be Hu Tao's best team! Don't write her off, she's a great support
I builded durimg tlast event for role play purpouses and I felt weirdly satisfy. She may not see the abyss ever, but she's fun in the open world.
Finally Amber. Elegy with Amber is meta in Tao comp: Tao+XQ+Kazu+Amber(Elegy). XQ with nobless, Amber with instructor.

I recommend to build her as a sub dps where she only use E and ult,use nobleese on her,use stringless on her and pair her up with baal because she couldn’t really gain much energy from her E.
You should have used Kokomi to apply hydro of field or Rosaria for Cryo
I use Rosaria’s q and Kokonut’s e together to freeze, with Amber it would’ve been quite op

Stringless or Ode, 2p crimson, 2p noble, EM focus. Bunny to lure, foot shot, burst, couple charged shots, repeat. Pairs well with Fischl & Sucrose. C6 Bennett actually pairs well with her also.

When the bar for thinking a character isn't bad is on the floor like Moga's it's pretty easy to see the worst character as decent
C6 Amber haver here. C6 is actually nuts, you can run her with Jean and have there ults match up, not only that but you can make your character go super fast with the movement speed from C6 Amber and C2 jean.
