These were some if the best years for monster truck racing. The more I watch from this time period the more I keep calling in love with the style and setup they had. It was very fair and the drivers really went why all out all the time. And it is so awesome seeing some of these older trucks
This show would be Monster Jam's last to happen in Seattle for 20 years (the Kingdome was demolished in 2000, and Lumen Field was constructed in 2002, where Monster Jam returned to Seattle in 2019).
I miss the good old days like this it was simply racing no wierd wild courses and stuff quite simple really. Now they are getting rid of cars? Ike really that’s what many come to see is car crushing and now not anymore
Part of that is due to people injured in the crowd from parts flying off newer cars.... since there is so much plastic to them.... they just shatter and launch everywhere. I miss that too but there's a lost of cars from the 60's 70's and 80's already crushed into oblivion. So the prices to a promoter.... is far more expensive when tougher cars can be found as well.
It might just be me, but I sure do miss THIS style of Monster Jam.. I remember going to see the trucks run at the King Dome in Seattle all the time when I was growing up in the 90's and my favorite memory is when Grave Digger went against Torus for the Semi Final round and Torus ended up upside down on top of the crush cars.. I think that was either 96 or 97 when that happened.
@@MrMisterChiliPepper88 he retired obviously lol n I believe he lives in Florida. I seen a video of him when he was at the monster truck hall of Fame museum in Indiana.
