I am a newer subscriber and I am also a cross stitcher that knits socks and hats. So I enjoy the knitting and yarn that you show. I also love EPP and learning quilting techniques. I enjoy your flosstube.
I love your "flower every day" project! 🌺 I want to stitch something like that but with hand embroidery techniques! It can become a nice embroidery pattern.
Thanks for the fun video visit. Your stitching looks great (I really love the flower a day piece), and the pups are such cute characters. I also have my DMC on bobbins and that works for me, especially when I don't have too many WIPS. I am setting up a project keeper for my Prairie Schooler projects, as I always stitch several ornaments each year and other patterns, so I'll dedicate a new bag to that with so many colors being used again and again in the patterns.
Always a treat to spend time with you Deana & yr sweet pups! Yr flower project on the yellow is so stunning. These days I am not a shopper either but can’t pass by my LNS!!
So excited to see someone else do Alphabet Blocks. I just finished mine in October. It was a start for our Anniversary and I changed several blocks to fit our family. I love the colors on yours.
Hi Deana. Thanks for the video. Loving your stitching and your antique finds too. Great news that your husband is healing well. For me the stars of the show were the 5 cuties. Omg! I could have hugged the tv! Don't think my little furry bestie would have been impressed 😂 Thanks so much for continuing to make videos for us, it must be a lot work but please know it's very much appreciated 😀 ❤
Thanks so much Gloria! I really appreciate it when anyone takes time out of their day to watch and comment on my videos. I enjoy making them. I'm just not real consistent with them. ❤️ My babies thank you also for the kind words. 💕 they would love your hugs.
Beautiful stitching. You are making so much progress on your WIP's. You showed some awesome charts in your haul. It was fun seeing the pups. Your plans sound very reasonable. I like hearing what everyone is planning for next year.
I just love your fur babies! They are so adorable! Thanks for sharing your WIPS and new patterns. Your stitching is always so beautiful! And thanks for sharing the new floss tubers. I too love Etsy!!! Yikes! I bought several Shannon Christine Halloween and Christmas patterns. I already have a huge binder full of Christmas and another full of Halloween! I forgot to tell you how pretty you look! I look forward to your videos! Have a great week! ❤
Such cute fur babies! Thank you for sharing! I took out one of my trees and I just cut all the lights off and I’m going to put new strands of light on it! Much easier to cut them off and put new lights on! Happy stitching!
That Flower A Day piece is stunning! Your antique shop find is so cute! I'm with you with the snow! It's beautiful! I just don't want it to touch me! 🤣💝
Deana you look so pretty on this video. Thank you for sharing your Stitching with us. All of your projects are awesome. I don't like crowds either. I'm an online shopper as well. Happy Stitching.,Pam😊
I haven’t seen you for awhile. I enjoyed this video. Your talk about railroading reminded me I’ve done that in the past. I’m going to try it on White as mine too never seems to lay flat and nice. Also liked the new flosstubers you introduced. I’ll be back, thank you!
Your puppies are priceless! Thanks for the introductions! I love your Carolyn Manning flower piece. You are braver than I am to work on such a big piece. You might have inspired me to try it though. That's what we stitchers do----enable each other. Thank you for all you do to make us all so happy.
Oh my your fur babies are absolutely adorable! Loved seeing them! I have 2 chihuahuas and one chocolate lab. Loved seeing all your progress on your WIPS. And I like your idea of doing some smalls from the PNPS magazine. Happy stitching!
I also have too many sewing crafts. I have everything to try punch needle but do I need more started projects. My friend called me the queen of unfinished projects. I love them all.
Hey there, Ms. Deana... So glad to hear that Mr. Steve is on the mend; shoulder surgeries can sure be trial and error, unfortunately, but glad to know his most recent procedure is working for him. Your fur babies are adorable, as always. It was fun to see their differing coat colors and hear about their temperament. Your "one-flower-a-day" project is so beautiful... every time you show it I know how much my Mom would love it--yellow + flowers for the win! I so appreciate all of your tips n' shares n' years of experience as a stitcher. You strike me as someone who would be an excellent instructor... just sayin'~~ Hope to see you again before the holidays, if that works out. From one "house cat" to another... Happy Holidays and take it easy. --from the Midwest, US.
Enjoyed seeing the adorable Poms!! You are so easy to listen to, and you have loads of knowledge to learn from!! Cross stitch is new for me, but have a little knitting experience too! Thank you for explaining the Double Moss stitch!! Just retired this month, so your projects are inspiring!! Thank you and have fun whenever you can!!
I enjoyed your video. I am doing something similar to what you are doing with the master set with my DMC floss, but I am precutting them and putting one or 2 strands on floss drops in my projects.
Hi Deana. Your fur babies are all so cute! Thank you for showing all of them. I wish it was warm enough to wear shorts where I live in eastern Nebraska (it's currently 25 degrees and snowing lightly). Your stitching is beautiful as always. I love your flower a day chart. The colors are so vibrant and really pop on the yellow fabric. Happy Stitching!
Thanks Deana for another lovely video. And Hi to all the pups. They are all beautiful! It is so sweet how Hannah sits up so straight and stares at the camera! They are all great to give you kisses too. I really miss my pom. Thanks for introducing them all to us. Your stitching is all so lovely! I wish you would post videos more often as I really enjoy you. Merry Christmas to you and your family and the pups!
Thank you for introducing your fur family. I have a 14 year old Lhasa apso that is our canine antidepressant…pups are the purest form of medicine. My Lola announces every person or dog that passes our house and then goes mute on a walk…she truly does guard our house, all ten pounds of her. Your flowers are progressing so well and is so beautiful. I agree that suddenly there are flosstubers in my stream that I have not seen before and some of them have a lot of videos already. I can’t figure out how to make UA-cam pop my videos up more often. It is crazy.
Hi Deana - loved seeing the "boys and girls" - they are so darned cute. I believe there is a kind of SAL called something along the lines of "stitch a small from PNPS" - you should check that out - maybe from Sarah's Stitchy Spot. I also think your idea of working on previous New Year's Day starts is brilliant - otherwise those beautiful pieces will not get finished. Looking forward to seeing that progress.
Your little ones are darling. Lucky kids! You are such a great example of fortitude and sticking with your plans! I also love your old school methods of paper charts and markers. Works for me too. I have truly enjoyed this time with you..Great company!💕😊
Hi Deana-loved seeing all the puppers, so cute how they all kissed you while you were holding them. The channel Privies and Prims Needle crafts showed some of the patterns from the Punch Needle magazine. She (Doreen) is a model stitcher for a store. Her channel is cross stitching and punch needle. Have a wonderful holiday if we don't see you before Christmas 🎄. Better get working on those pesky lights!😂
I saw her last night. I think she model stitches for the Shepard's Needle in Little Rock. I'm still looking at that dang tree like it's going to fix itself!!🙄
Hi Deana I really enjoyed you latest floss tube I jotted some things down you mentioned. You also mentioned your 2 pair of-glasses my glasses are prescription. Hi Deana! I enjoyed meeting your dogs. Their personalities do shine through. Great stitching and stories as always. I really like the Flower A Day piece. Thank you for sharing your knitting projects. I am going to look into the pocket shawl - that would be great for when I have to take my dog outside. Happy holidays to you!
That's why I am making mine is because sometimes I have to go chase them inside during to winter. Note: if you do make it I used worsted weight wool and am making it wider. I casted on 116 st. and it's about 24" wide. I just started my 3rd skein and it's about 33" long right now. I'm planning on using 5 to 6 skein for shawl and maybe add pockets.
Love the yellow fabric you dyed! I may have to do that truck. My husband was a truck driver for 35 years. I don't have plans for next year but you've inspired me to make some. Although I do have trouble sticking with them. 🙄 Good to see you!
