Thanks for all your info regarding Reiki. Just starting to learn about it. There are several practitioners here and not sure how to select one for a treatment. Also is it better for them to lay their hands on or just hold them above me. I would enjoy a treatment from you if we were in the same town. Sometimes there in sync with what my client saw. When performing byosen how does my hands know to throw out the bad and cross when I finish an area? I love your three rules. So, I had my first Reiki session and yes, I am confused . She did some kind of scanning and I felt heat coming from her palms , the energy . But then she started to tell me about some intuition that I didn’t listen to and some people , different kind of people in my life brought the past which I try not to think about , it sounded like a psychic reader . Now in my opinion it had nothing to do with what I’m going through right now. My question is if that’s a red flag or if I should say something or wait for another session. I appreciate your answer. The question is if you felt helped by the session or not. Only you can answer that from your experience. If you leave a session and feel heavy or burdened by what occurred, perhaps try another practitioner.
As you tune in to them, ‘who are you? Show me what is important’ when guided to give Reiki at a certain position, ‘what is here?’ Then when you get information or see a scene or symbol, ask questions to reveal why it is that in particular. Investigate to further define what comes through questioning of details. Hope that helps.
Andrea, with covid I see intuitive Reiki done online. How beneficial is that since it is not in person. My friend is a forensic psychic medium, but I thought it was hovering hands and balancing Chakra. She can still read in person or online. So what I am receiving differently?
Offering Reiki over distance is as old as Reiki and we did not need to learn how due to the pandemic. We have known how to perform Reiki over distance all along with level 2 training. All the benefit is there and some feel distance is more beneficial and sensations and intuition is more clear because of not being physically present with the other person's energy and having distractions relating to the client's comfort or other variables.

Welcome, Lindy!!! I’m glad you found me here! Good question. Not all teachers are the same for sure. There are many styles of Reiki too. You might ask around for recommendations but above all, I’d check out the Master teacher and ask questions or research them online. How long have they been practicing? Teaching? Do you need online or in person? Do they have a practice and see clients? What’s included in the class? What will you be able to do after class? Do they offer ongoing support and welcome questions after class? Do they have reviews and testimonials online? Do you resonate with what you see about them and hear about them? I think going with your guidance is important. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions 💐

I'm very intuitive so as a CMT I will receive information during a session. I recently received my Reiki Master Teacher Attunement and the messages have increased. Reiki has seemed to strengthen my intuition (yay!). Please make more videos on the subject. Thank you so much 💚

I feel I have lost my intuition, I had it when I was younger.. I have recently received my 2nd degree usui okuden and feel unsure of myself

It’s normal to drift. When you notice, try saying “Reiki for (person’s name)” three times to help recenter and focus. 💕
