When this movie was released there was a massive storm in the state of Andrapradesh( 1989)but people went to theatres to see chirangeevi sir and his mesmerising performance...it ran 365days in theatres...during that time we felt that if we don't watch his movie we lost something in our lives..such a impressive talented person...people of the telugu call him "anniah "means their own brother...
He was megastar long before this movie released, this movie was released during heavy rainfall even though peoples watched this movie and made it grand success peoples watched movie standing in theatres due to heavy rainfall that's megastar.
Sir, Chiranjeevi was already the most worshipped hero of Tollywood during this movie time. Couple of years later in 1992 he was adjudged as the highest paid actor of India too. So, he was already a legend by then :)..
