      Thanks Mario! I think Radiolink is under rated, it's the equal of Futaba at much less cost! Keep safe!

      Sorry I don't know. I no longer use this Tx, I use the Radiomaster Tx16S. Thanks for watching, have a great day!

    Would this model support vario feedback and perhaps FPV with panning?

      If your going to want advanced functions I would go with a Radiomaster Tx16S running EdgeTx software. Thanks for watching, have a great day!

    Hi what voltage is the 3s Lipo battery please

    • @1nformatica
      @1nformatica  2 місяці тому +1

      A 3S pack is nominally around 11 volts. Fully charged would be 12.6 volts. Thanks for watching, have a great day!

    Another well presented review, thank you. I am tempted by this transmitter but I have a mix of receivers - frsky in D8 and D16, flysky, radiomaster, even a couple of devo 6 channel. My Jumper T lite handles them. But a more comprehensive controller would be great it it is also flexible for the various protocols. Is this the case with this transmitter?

      @1nformatica  2 роки тому

      Hi Alex, sadly it only supports Radiolink's own receivers. Best save up for a Radiomaster Tx16s or the slightly less expensive Eachine version. Thanks for watching, have a great day!

    Do you have the gyro on a switch? Or is it active all the time?

    • @1nformatica
      @1nformatica  2 роки тому +1

      The gyro is controlled by a 3 position switch on channel 5 giving manual mode, gyro and stabilised modes. Thanks for watching, have a great day!

      @@1nformatica whilst I’m here. Do you think a gyro is a good thing for a newbie or do you feel it detracts from the learning curve and perhaps fitted a little down the line?

    • @1nformatica
      @1nformatica  2 роки тому +1

      @@ChasingContours That is a tricky question! One of the "catch22's" of a gyro is that the plane should be trimmed to fly correctly before using it! It can act as a confidence booster when learning but not used all the time, kind of like trainer wheels on a bike. In the video the plane shown is one I used to test various gyro setups. The plane flew fine without it. Recently I maidened a 4 motor Lancaster : ua-cam.com/video/9AM6t9kdA48/v-deo.html It had a gyro but it was not used for the takeoff only to provide a stable flight for landing. In a large or expensive model it is an insurance but only if set up correctly!! Good luck with your flying.

    Thanks for the great video, could you please let me know how many 3 position switches this radio has? Thanks

    • @1nformatica
      @1nformatica  2 роки тому

      Hi, there are 4 x two-position, 3 x three-position and 1 x return switch the manual is linked in the video description. Confusingly in the picture from the manual the 3 position switches are labelled "Trinal" I guess a Chinese mis translation! Thanks for watching, have a great day!

      @@1nformatica okay great thanks for your reply, I wanted at least two 3 pos switches, can you turn mixes on and off via a switch?

      @@bengoodman6112 Sorry I don't know. I only used the basic features to review. You need to read through the manual linked in the video description.

    Hello friend, I see few recent tutorials about this radio, what you think of it is a good buy

    • @1nformatica
      @1nformatica  2 роки тому +1

      Much depends on the way you wish to setup the radio and models. This radio does not have a computer interface and all is done on the radio. Others like the Taranis have a program for the PC like Open Tx. I compare the AT10II radio to Futaba but much less expensive. It will only work with Radiolink receivers. It is a really nice radio. Personally I like the option to use my PC to backup and configure models. I have just bought a Radiomaster TX16s running Edge Tx, but obviously it is much more expensive. Tell me if you have other questions. Thanks for watching, have a great day!

      Radiolink claim 4000 meters. www.radiolink.com/at10ii Personally I only fly line of sight and experienced no problems with range.
