No kidding. Podium protests. 3 of the top 4 seeded women dropping out of the 200m freestyle. Seemingly undefeated veterans being beaten by newcomers. A lot of finals with slower times than expected. Two Michael Phelps world records broken, one by a 19-year-old several years before people thought he'd be ready to do that, and by almost a full second. The nightclub roof collapse where several athletes were present. That Hungarian swimmer arrested for sexual harassment and told to stay in the country for at least 10 days. Great Britain becoming the first country ever to defeat the United States in the men's medley relay in a long course event. The only two predictable things in the entire meet were Caleb Dressel's performance, and Adam Peaty dominating everyone in the breaststroke sprints.
