14:18 Patreon month countdown Top 10 Links 😂 Sorry I had to. But in all seriousness it would be interesting to see which version of Link you like most.😊
Top 10 Slingshot Wielders, Oscar. Go. (Warning: Link may be on there. I'll serve as your bodyguard so you can finish it before anyone shoots you as you requested.)
Super happy that weapons month is back!!! Also I personally think that Ty the Tasmanian tiger should've been on this list because he is an amazing boomerang wielder, wielding all kinds of different rangs to get through obstacles and enemies He has a flamarang to destroy ice, a frostyrang to put out fires, an aquarang in order to swim, and so many other awesome rangs that he can control at his disposal Ty the Tasmanian tiger is definitely an underrated game in my opinion
Boomerangs are nice. 10. Hope? Man. 9. Boomerang Bros. actually appeared in Yoshi's Safari. 8. Never heard of Zhurong, but thanks for the info. 7. Too bad we don't see Sir Kibble in the anime. And it's called "Helper to Hero". 6. In X6 he's weak to Meteor Rain. Still, Dynamo's pretty cool. Wonder where he is now? 5. Again? Link? AGAIN?! I'll get Dees Vanguard on the horn. 4. I tried Sivir once. I'll stick with Jinx, Caitlin and Ahri. 3. Slasher Hawk is... weird. But I feel bad for him too. 2. Malik also has a tragic past, but he is a good friend toward Asbel. Now let's recap: Number 10, Hope. Number 9, Boomerang Bros. Number 8, Zhurong. Number 7, Sir Kibble. Number 6, Dynamo. Number 5, Link. Number 4, Sivir. Number 3, Slasher Hawk and number 2, Malik Caesar. 1. Aika's pretty cool. Enough said.
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger...dudes got exploding boomerangs, boomerangs that act like grappling hooks, boomerangs that burn, freeze, and shock, boomerangs that clone themselves, boomerangs that warp him places...it's a big list...
Let's take a look at this month: 10. I like his character development but I can see why he's hated 9. Classic! Just classic! 8. I'm surprised to see a Dynasty Warriors entry... interesting 7. I can see why you'd include him 6. Interesting. Odd but interesting. 5. Snicker... he's here... he's really here... 4. Figures as much... 3. Never heard of him but interesting character. 2. I was laughing too. I also like his character. 1. Wow... I'm really impressed. If the Wii U virtual console gets Gamecube remakes, I'll give this game a try.
Boomerangs, huh? Well, this could be interesting. 10. I would like him if it weren't for the fact that almost the entire cast of that game is horrible (IMHO) 9. I hated dealing with them in Mario 3, but I like them 8. Well...that's an odd design. But, whatever works. 7. I forgot about him 6. Huh. I thought the Mega Man representative would have been Quick Man or Cut Man. 5. As soon as I saw the title, all I could think was "Please don't have him on this list. He's cool, but this is getting ridiculous" 4. I remember using her a lot for my ADC game 3. Quite a tragic backstory. Then again, this is MG we're talking about. 2. Could they not come up with a better name for that thing? 1. I need to get Legends for the Gamecube.
*Sees the title* Me: Oi, I'll bet he'll say it's an all-Australian weapon. Green Scorpion: There are some misconceptions about the boomerang... Me: Well, that shut me up. Also, agreeing with other comments: Ty the Tasmanian Tiger needed a mention.
I thought Gnar might've been on here, but I suppose he was too recently released. Sivir's a good choice, though. I'm also happy to see Boomerang Bro and Sir Kibble!
LuckXvaati I'm not Green Scorpion but here's why I think Ty was excluded. All he really does is throw his boomerangs and they come back to him. Sure he can get some fancy rangs like the Multi Rang or the Doomerang but the special properties of those weapons come from the specs of the rangs themselves. Ty doesn't have a lot of the skills that the entries on here have. He can't lock on to multiple targets like Link can, he's not as deadly as that Dynasty Warriors Lady whose name escapes me at the moment, and he doesn't have any crazy attacks he can use his rangs for like the Top 2 entries do.
I think that you should have included Ty the Tasmanian Tiger. All he uses is boomerangs! He even has many variations of them that can do some serious damage like his thunderang that shocks enemies, his multirang to hit multiple targets, and his frostyrang to freeze water to form platforms to stand on.
Loving WMIII so far. Keep up the good work! Also, the End Joke was pretty funny. And made me realize that not many Countdown creators these days still use End Jokes. I kinda miss them, to be honest...
Omg, and here I thought I was the only person to own the Ty Trilogy. Well, Scoripon, this comment is for you. All the people here claiming that Ty should be number 1 are doing a poor job on telling WHY. So, allow me to elaborate. Ty is a "tazmanian tiger" (whatever the hell that is) that works for a sort of Australian ranger station that protects the outback from all manners of baddies. His arsenal of weapons includes an absolutely RIDICULOUS variety of boomerangs. However, he also uses Bunyips, which are basically mech suits that are designed for different purposes (my favorite being the Shadow Bunyip which is basically a mech battle bot with a laser on its arm.) Ty has a very noble personality and is adored by his whole town. They all have this mentality of "We can do anything, as long as we have Ty around!" Ty is a bit cocky at times, but is not really arrogant. In fact, he's kind of stupid. Rather than coming up with a plan, Ty is the type of character that would rather just whack stuff until it stops moving. But, enough about his story, let's get into his boomerangs. To list just a FEW of his boomerangs we have: Regular - Obvious Mulitrangs - Able to clone themselves Omegarangs - Hit multiple targets before returning and clone themselves Kaboomarangs - Explode on contact with eachother Doomrangs - Explode on contact with anything Deathrangs - Explode on contact with anything AND he's able to direct their flight pattern Lassorangs - Act as whips and grappling hooks as well and can tie up enemies and retrieve objects Lavarangs - Cause massive fire damage, melts ice Blizzardrangs - Cause massive ice damage, freezes water Infarangs - Extremely long range and let him see things that are invisible while equipped (also have sonar) On top of this ridiculous arsenal, all of his 'rangs have auto-lock-on, which guarantees a hit target. And he can use them to glide, climb, and even fly occasionally. He can also use them to block projectiles and every 'rang he has he also has an infinite amount of. So, yeah. Ty is kinda the poster boy of boomerang users in video games.
You're doing weapons, Rabbidluigi's done weapons, Fawful's Minion is about to do weapons...Ima go ahead and save my weapons list for another time, MMMMMMMMAAAGIC!!! Also, great list, I love your work. ^^
I love the Bloomerang from Plants vs. Zombies 2. He's just so adorable, not to mention the ability to hit three targets twice in a single lane is very nifty.
Spellcasters... that is going to be a tough one. Looking forward to it. Also, Hurray for Malik! I was worried he wasn't going to be on the list, but I am glad he was since he is my favorite character in that game, and he does some insane shit with the boomerang.
Akia from Skies from Arcadia I like how she's kind of the comic relief due to some of her actions ecspecially around treasure or what appears to be treasure but what makes her shine is her boomerang skills seriously some of her best abilites hurt like heck.
Just don't do a grappling hook month and you'll never need to see Link again. I don't think it's a problem cause you're not giving him number one each time. Link has been a jack-of-all-trades since forever but has never been presented as an expert. Raw talent is genetic, I suppose.
I always have the feeling with these weapon months list, there's always that hidden symbolism of the weapon between the character and the weapon he or she has.
Fun fact about Sir Kibble and the Cutter ability, it’s actually inspired by the Eye Slugger from Ultraseven, which is ironically a blade attached to Ultraseven’s head that he could take off and toss it at his enemies. I bet that if this list wasn’t exclusive to just VG characters, Ultraseven would have been listed higher on the list, maybe even tie with his son, Ultraman Zero.
How curious that you mention "Toys" used as weapons. It would be an interesting list to see "Toy Users"... I don't know, maybe yo-yos or something like it. Also, "Animal Users" would be neat! :D
Yes. The wait is finally over. Weapons Month 3 is finally here, and a pretty good weapon to start off; the boomerang. Can't wait to see the other weapon countdowns this month as well.
Might be pushing it since sir kibble is on the list, but what about viewtiful joe's voomerang ability? He throws the V shaped headpiece on his helmet just like kibble.
Nice list! I love your Weapons Month series, can't wait for more! I don't really know many Boomerang users myself, but I'm surprised that the only one I actually know, Quickman of Megaman 2 fame, didn't make it on the list. Though he doesn't have much in terms of personality and basically just jumps around fast and chucks them everywhere so I guess I can see why he wouldn't make the cut.
I also find boomerang-wielders fun to watch so I am glad that you made a Top List on it. Bonus points for putting Malik on it let alone Number 2. Though am I the only one who was hoping that Sho Hayate would appear on the list? I mean I get WHY because he hasn't heard of him but if he did, he would realize that Hayate not only wields a giant boomerang but also used it as a close-range weapon AND it is part of a martial art.
21:15 - 21:23 As someone who has played through this game recently (haven't beaten it yet tho), CAN CONFIRM. The entire sequence where these two _literally_ just missed each other while on Nasrad before heading out to Daccat's Island was one of the most emotionally frustrating _things_ for me to experience. And I kept repeating to myself, "Come on, you two, REUNITE ALREADY!" as I continued the dungeon.
great video. Although I know that the green scorpion hasn't probably played that game, I thinklongtooth from the underrated Rts battle realms would have fit perfectly in that list. Essentially he uses boomerangs in three different lengths to cover all ranges all round up on his back and he can wound up one of his alloided weapons so hard that it goes through several units including structures. Also he has a interesting backstory and would fit the theme of loyalty.
if you check hope's inventory you find out that hope already had a boomerang and by looking at the descriptions for various boomerangs you find out that they are mostly toys but there are hunting and sport models maybe he just had one because he thought it was cool.
When I saw League and you were playing the whole "Which character haven't I talked about yet" thing. I literally just said "Just say Sivir already damnit"
I'm glad that someone else thinks Hope from FF13 is a good character, since so many people ironically complain about his "whining". But anyway, awesome list, ever since I started watching these weapons month vids, I was hoping for a boomerang list. I'm starting to wonder wht weapons you can even make vids about anymore... I'm guessing there will be handguns and claws for two of the vids this month.
Am I the only one who is slightly disappointed that Vorken(sp?) from the Wonderful 101 didn't make it onto this list? Maybe he hasn't played the game but I will always remember that one moment where he gets the team through one of the most insane (graphically) parts of the game.
Oh my Oscar you did another amazing job with this Weapons Month countdown! (Including the obligatory Link and LoL entries XD) Good Job, my man! I can't wait to see what else you got for us in this 3rd Edition of WM! :D *PS: But seriously, I'm hoping for more KH Characters in this 3rd Edition, I guess Axel's Chakrams are not Boomerangs?*
Huh I can see some good reason for Zhurong's entry. Diaochan and Lu Bu I can't argue with for their entries in the previous lists though for Zhurong she's had I believe 2 times where I remember her having the boomerang. Though I've only played Dynasty Warriors 8 and Warriors Orochi 3.
10. LOL screw-ups 9. Really? 8. Y so lo? 7. Finally, common sense 6. Who? 5. NO! Give me the sniper! 4. O Rly?! 3. Cool B-) 2. God I need to play these games! 1. Who?
It would be hard to argue about number one because of one move: Omega Pysclone. I never played the game(I want it though), but that move looks really OP!
all right nice to see these back! Can't wait to see the others. by the way this is more of a countdown request but once you get thought weapons month 3 you think you can make a countdown on the ace attorney and prof. layton series to commerate (sorry poor spelling) their collab.
Because I knew you would go to LoL for a character, I first thought of gnar because I couldn't think of any others who used a boomerang. I've love to see you justify gnar for this.
No Ty the Tasmanian Tiger? Hopefully he wasn't included because you haven't played the game, and not because you didn't think he was a good boomerang wielder
I think you're safe on the Link front. The sword, bow, bombs, and boomerang are his most common weapons, and all others are either tools first weapons second, or game specific.
Hey :3 Wish you would of put Alys Brangwin from Phantasy star 4 on this list :3 She has a great personaliy and a emotinal role in the games plot and well. The way she fights with her boomarangs/ slashers are just freaking cool :3 great to see you back dude
I agree, Aika is amazing. She's almost like Sticks the Badger from Sonic Boom... hey, wait a second. Sticks came after Aika, yet she basically has the same body build and hairstyle as her, as well as the same weapon of choice. And both characters were made by Sega?! You do think...? (ominous music)
I'm surprised Ty the Tasmanian Tiger didn't make the cut. I guess that just means you haven't played it, in which case I recommend you do so, it's one of my favorite 3D platformers.
OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! Captain Malik is here!! But you forgot some minor details of why he has it and the references... Professor Malik chose the Bladerang because Swords does not fit his style but fits his background as an wandering wolf, actually, he travels all around the world just to have internal peace for his mistakes in the past and as an older guy and his past story, Malik won't relie in the arts of archery or spears, grown in Fendel, a place so cold with a feeling of a steam-punk city, thoses weapon styles where not his forte. The Bladerang and Malik is awsome, he has much confidence on his knowledge about the world and makes me feel that some day, his peace will return as his weapon... another fact, Malik also was a mantor for Prince Richard for some time before Asbel came to his life.
"If I ever use Link again shoot me"
Do Top Ten Hookshot Wielders XD
Could you make a top 10 video game knife/dagger wielders video? I would like to see your list.
I'd like to see Top 10 shield users, if there's one thing Spartans and Cap. America have taught us is that the shield is more then used for defense.
Glad to see ya got your wish 6 years later pal😁
14:18
Patreon month countdown
Top 10 Links
😂 Sorry I had to.

9. Boomerang Bros. actually appeared in Yoshi's Safari.

5. Again? Link?
Now let's recap:
Number 10, Hope. Number 9, Boomerang Bros. Number 8, Zhurong. Number 7, Sir Kibble. Number 6, Dynamo. Number 5, Link. Number 4, Sivir. Number 3, Slasher Hawk and number 2, Malik Caesar.

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger...dudes got exploding boomerangs, boomerangs that act like grappling hooks, boomerangs that burn, freeze, and shock, boomerangs that clone themselves, boomerangs that warp him places...it's a big list...
Spamerang! Yes I know its the multirand, but still
YET TY IS NOWHERE ON THIS LIST!!!!!!!!!!!
Cory'sInDaHouse, who is the Tasmanian Tiger?
Let's take a look at this month:
10. I like his character development but I can see why he's hated
9. Classic! Just classic!
8. I'm surprised to see a Dynasty Warriors entry... interesting
7. I can see why you'd include him
6. Interesting. Odd but interesting.
5. Snicker... he's here... he's really here...
4. Figures as much...
3. Never heard of him but interesting character.
2. I was laughing too. I also like his character.
1. Wow... I'm really impressed. If the Wii U virtual console gets Gamecube remakes, I'll give this game a try.
Surprised Ty the Tasmanian Tiger didn't make it on the list, he's got fookin' kaboomerangs!
not to mention that that's the main weapon in the entire series.
I wanted Ty to appear on the list too.
Top 10 Chain Weapons, perhaps? I'd like to see that.
Boomerangs, huh? Well, this could be interesting.
10. I would like him if it weren't for the fact that almost the entire cast of that game is horrible (IMHO)
9. I hated dealing with them in Mario 3, but I like them
8. Well...that's an odd design. But, whatever works.
7. I forgot about him
6. Huh. I thought the Mega Man representative would have been Quick Man or Cut Man.
5. As soon as I saw the title, all I could think was "Please don't have him on this list. He's cool, but this is getting ridiculous"
4. I remember using her a lot for my ADC game
3. Quite a tragic backstory. Then again, this is MG we're talking about.
2. Could they not come up with a better name for that thing?
1. I need to get Legends for the Gamecube.
Musical instruments, boomerangs; you really can make the mundane awesome through some games!
*Sees the title*
Me: Oi, I'll bet he'll say it's an all-Australian weapon.
Green Scorpion: There are some misconceptions about the boomerang...
Me: Well, that shut me up.
Also, agreeing with other comments: Ty the Tasmanian Tiger needed a mention.
Excuse you, Link's magically guided boomerang originated in Oracle of Season as a Boomerang Upgrade, thank you very much.
I thought Gnar might've been on here, but I suppose he was too recently released. Sivir's a good choice, though.
I'm also happy to see Boomerang Bro and Sir Kibble!
s
1 top ten SHIELD wielders?
2 can you make League look like it used to?
3 can you show me throw ropes, so to speak, in league
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT? How could Ty the Tasmanian Tiger not be on this list. Have you not played his games?
considering i haven't heard of that game...
Ty has a trilogy.
Seriously, for being NOTHING, but boomerangs....... One would think.......

Maybe but he should have still been put on the list.
Before I watch, I just want to say how happy it made me to see weapons month back!
hey Oscar can I give a suggestion for next year's weapons month
THE TOP TEN BAT WIELDERS!!!
I'm glad to see someone else that likes Hope's character. It was nice that you used his somber theme as well.
I think that you should have included Ty the Tasmanian Tiger. All he uses is boomerangs! He even has many variations of them that can do some serious damage like his thunderang that shocks enemies, his multirang to hit multiple targets, and his frostyrang to freeze water to form platforms to stand on.
Because of Jelloapocalypse, I can’t stop referring to Vyse as “Vyrsa”
I'm so glad you put in Slasher Hawk.
Thank you so much for putting Malik so high on the list. Just... thanks. Malik is my favorite character in Graces F.
Loving WMIII so far. Keep up the good work!
Also, the End Joke was pretty funny. And made me realize that not many Countdown creators these days still use End Jokes. I kinda miss them, to be honest...
Oh man, I'm really excited for the next one. Great list by the way.
To list just a FEW of his boomerangs we have:
Regular - Obvious
Mulitrangs - Able to clone themselves
Omegarangs - Hit multiple targets before returning and clone themselves
Kaboomarangs - Explode on contact with eachother
Doomrangs - Explode on contact with anything
Deathrangs - Explode on contact with anything AND he's able to direct their flight pattern
Lassorangs - Act as whips and grappling hooks as well and can tie up enemies and retrieve objects
Lavarangs - Cause massive fire damage, melts ice
Blizzardrangs - Cause massive ice damage, freezes water
Infarangs - Extremely long range and let him see things that are invisible while equipped (also have sonar)
On top of this ridiculous arsenal, all of his 'rangs have auto-lock-on, which guarantees a hit target. And he can use them to glide, climb, and even fly occasionally. He can also use them to block projectiles and every 'rang he has he also has an infinite amount of.
So, yeah. Ty is kinda the poster boy of boomerang users in video games.
Glad to see WM3 a reality. Can't wait for more. Also glad to see someone stand up for Hope.
You have no idea how happy I was to see Dino-Rang in the intro.

Yes. The wait is finally over. Weapons Month 3 is finally here, and a pretty good weapon to start off; the boomerang. Can't wait to see the other weapon countdowns this month as well.
I'm actually really amused that Link has appeared in so many lists. Thank you for the lists, GS!
Might be pushing it since sir kibble is on the list, but what about viewtiful joe's voomerang ability? He throws the V shaped headpiece on his helmet just like kibble.
I liked number two. Glad to see you love Tales as much as I do
So happy that Malik Ceasar is on the list.
In Graces and L&L his past come back to haunt him multiple times, like a boomerang.
Can we see a top ten playing card users for weapons month?
BradenTerry98 I can see it... Luxord, Twisted fate...
Nice list! I love your Weapons Month series, can't wait for more!
I don't really know many Boomerang users myself, but I'm surprised that the only one I actually know, Quickman of Megaman 2 fame, didn't make it on the list. FINALLY, a professional countdown artist that doesn't hate Final fantasy XIII.
great video.

Ah, FINALLY someone mentions Tales of Graces in a countdown.
Great choice for your number one! Loved Skies of Arcadia!
calling it right now
next is Top Ten Video Game Flail Wielders
When I saw League and you were playing the whole "Which character haven't I talked about yet" thing. I literally just said "Just say Sivir already damnit"
I'm glad that someone else thinks Hope from FF13 is a good character, since so many people ironically complain about his "whining".
But anyway, awesome list, ever since I started watching these weapons month vids, I was hoping for a boomerang list.
I'm starting to wonder wht weapons you can even make vids about anymore...
I'm guessing there will be handguns and claws for two of the vids this month.
no ty the Tasmanian tiger?...
WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?!
Am I the only one who is slightly disappointed that Vorken(sp?) from the Wonderful 101 didn't make it onto this list?
Maybe he hasn't played the game but I will always remember that one moment where he gets the team through one of the most insane (graphically) parts of the game.
REALLY surprised none of the boomerang users in the MegaMan series didn't make it to the list. Way to not dial it in! Excellent list.
Oh my Oscar you did another amazing job with this Weapons Month countdown! (Including the obligatory Link and LoL entries XD)
Good Job, my man! I can't wait to see what else you got for us in this 3rd Edition of WM! :D
*PS: But seriously, I'm hoping for more KH Characters in this 3rd Edition, I guess Axel's Chakrams are not Boomerangs?*
A perfect way to officially start weapons month 3!
I know Sivir uses the Boomerang blade, but Gnar uses a more traditional boomerang, and he is quite profession with it.
4:12 Next countdown: Grappling hooks XD
10. LOL screw-ups
9. Really?
8. Y so lo?
7. Finally, common sense
6. Who?
5. NO! Give me the sniper!
4. O Rly?!
3. Cool B-)
2. God I need to play these games!
1. Who?
It would be hard to argue about number one because of one move: Omega Pysclone. I never played the game(I want it though), but that move looks really OP!
I have a idea this may be stupid but... top 10 video game brawlers (fist users) pls reply about what you think about this idea
You ever play Terraria? The boomerang weapons in that game are pretty cool.
PS: Yes, I know this list is about the characters.
Im guessing the next weapon list is going to be hats or canes or something
i think you mean bats?
Hat users? Other than Kung Lao who would be on that list?
OswaldOrtensia4ever raiden from mortal kombat.
As part of Thank You day,
Thanks for the videos!
Yesh!!! I was hoping Zhu Rong would be in this list~ And number 8 too my fav #!!!
YES!!! I love Hammer Dance!!! (For those wondering what I'm talking about, it's the music for Number 9 on the list)
5. I can offer metaphorical shots, but I'm not promising anything lethal.
all right nice to see these back!
YEEEEEEEES
I don't think many people have played that game, so that's probably the case.
I wish he put him he wpuld have been high too (well in my opinion he should be high)
14:01 well the funny thing about that is that he was originally gonna have one, but they decided to replace it with the beetle
Have you played Ty the Tasmanian Tiger? If you like boomerangs, I totally recommend it. Also, good job using some sort of Skylanders footage.
At some point, PLEASE do top ten videogame chainsaw wielders! I'm sure you can find a bunch of characters for that. :)
OH MAN! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS! WELCOME BACK, SCORPION!
Also, the League of Legends champion should've been Gnar (in my opinion).
I'll admit, there weren't that many boomerang characters I could think of. The only ones I got were Gnar, Sivir, and the hero from Dragon Quest VIII.
at least ONE countdown artist can keep promises about his lists
here's lookin at you, Logan
Did a little research, if a returning boomerang hits the target with a glancing blow then it MAY be able to return.
What music is playing during Sivirs part? I wanna listen to this at the gym
Thunder's theme in Killer Instinct.
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is a good one. ^v^
What about Ty the Tasmanian Tiger?
I'm surprised Ty the Tasmanian Tiger didn't make the cut. I guess that just means you haven't played it, in which case I recommend you do so, it's one of my favorite 3D platformers.
Link in Weapons Month?
Take a shot.
I'm not surprised you put Sivir on here, but I wished you had put Gnar in that spot
With Sivir, you forgot to mention that her Ult givers her bonus attack speed while Ricochet is active.
These spinny thingies always confused me. I can barely throw one properly in real life and yet these characters can sever heads with them
i'd like to see the top 10 video game boxers. since i believe that the boxing glove is a kind of a weapon. sort of.
I'm happy that Dino Rang from Skylanders is an honorable mention
I'm so glad she is here!
How about top ten grapplers? One more chance to have link...
Top 10 Video Game Animal Wielders would be cool to see, if you're looking for ideas on weapons lists.
What happened to the 2nd Weapons Month? I was about to watch it after finishing this video. I believe that it was called Top 10 Magic Wielders.
