Yeah, i wish they were still around just like they used to be when they came out. They are good openers, but ppl today like the newer ones which they arent so bad, but i like Stanleys a lot better, even if they are loud. :)

I really suggest the blades of the Gold Line to be upside-down. It is *alot* more ideal for reverse (unless it looks too ugly that way).

I had a 38" Encon Princess in my closet because I couldn't install a fan. In my parents bedroom was a harbor Breeze builder's best. And at our old house thare was a 52" Evergo banana fan.

Dan Spiffy Neuman In our house we have 2 hunter discoveries 1 hunter five minute 1 Standard hunter 1 Hampton bay with leaf blades and sadly there is no wall control in this house
Can you tell me; 1. How old where you when you started putting fans in. And 2. Is a fan easy to put into a room that has never had a fan? I'm thinking about buying this beautiful brass mistralair four blade fan. (Not too sure what it's model name is) but it's only $15!

I don't have a ceiling fan in my living room, i keep my kitchen fan on low and my 2 bedroom fans on medium :)

It's a pretty common place, even though it's not the most practical place.

+Dan ''Spiffy'' Neuman yeah In my other grandma's (nana) house, there was a hampton bay minuet ii in there, and in the kitchen there was a fluorescent fixure. however, the fluorescent failed, and nana decided to take out the minuet because it wasnt used enough, and replace the fan and fluorescent with small light fixtures. there still here today.
