I am about to have a BLAST shopping my home. I never settled into my new apartment, but I've been shopping the whole time😬 This video was added inspiring. I'm definitely more of a maximalist, so finding clever ways to display things that I love is extremely useful.
I love the mirror frame and the bowl in the same room but with space apart, glad you didn't put it on the dresser directly under the mirror bc that would be too matchy. You have such a good eye!

Such a great redo! I moved into an apartment where I can't drill into the walls, the Command strips and hangers have been a godsend. I have a ton of art and family photos (and my ex found 2 big boxes of family fotos that I'd thought I'd lost over 10 years ago. I'm going to be changing out a bunch of photos, and storing the others so they last another 100 years!

Loved the ideas!! I used to be so afraid of command strips. I used them once and pictures fell and broke so for over a decade I stayed away. Last week I said "F" it...yes just the letter, I didn't curse 😅 BUT I ordered command strips, FOLLOWED the specific instructions and voila!!!! My item is hanging perfectly. Who knew to wait an hour 😂😂😂

The Command claws are a game-changer. I recently moved into a place with a bizarre combination of metal studs and plaster, and they're holding up my heavy ceramic signs easy peasy. My walls aren't suited to just pressing them in with my thumbs, so a hammer is necessary, but still... grateful for whatever nerd came up with them.

Great ideas, 3-M makes the most useful products that actually work. After watching this, I looked at some ways to get things to hang or stick on drywall, which is almost impossible other than from these products. I have a toilet paper holder, that has been driving me nuts and hurting the wall, so what a great idea. Thanks!

I use those command hooks in my closet for my handbags and leather totes. I keep bags stuffed with plastic to retain shape.

I love what you did today, it really added warmth that was missing before and although I wasn't crazy about the centrepiece for me, for my taste, I think it was PERFECT for the space you designed.

Your dog is adorable in the dining chair. I love Command products. But I had no idea they had things like that. I bought the hook thing from somewhere. To hang the two mirrors that I have hung up. I do have some of the wall hanging strips. I haven’t used them yet. I have Command hooks in my bathrooms. They are specifically made for bathrooms. I love how everything turned out. It’s something even I could do. Thanks for another great video.

Lovely redo. I use command strips, too, but for precious items, I may use an anchor with a strong screw along with the command strips for a little extra reassurance.

Probably for conversation. The tv isnt always used when you have company. People sit and talk sometimes. That’s my guess

Hanging blankets on the wall as decor is actually really cute :) I went cliche and put mine in a basket under an end table 😅. I also like your scented sandy pears display (as I'm going to call it, lol!). Going to have to look that up as a nice alternative (or accompanyment) to the candles and wax melts I'm trying to use up.
And lastly, the tulips that you used on your coffee table, are those real? They're beautiful! This was a really great refresh for the living room 😊

I LOVE the claw hooks!! I get mine from Home Depot or Target. I have an Afrocentric maximum look, and those claws are helpful. They keep my African masks on the wall without damaging it.

I can't help but laugh at your pup peeking over the dining table . Super cute! I love the white walls where the console is located. It's a smart idea about the images . I don't like too many photos scattered everywhere . I love the pillow idea on the couch . where did you get the cute outfit you have on ?

I've had 2 framed pictures drop to the floor last summer off Command hooks. The wall paint was also scratched as a consequence.
Now l nail my picture hooks!
I would find the 2 picture lamps at the front of the TV distracting. They should be placed on the sides without impediment.

Quick question about decorating with boxes: would you stack 2 different boxes if they coordinate?
I would (for what my opinion is worth). The fact that they are both boxes, and coordinating, would make it work. Being different would just add interest.
Some good points. Respectfully, the black cushion blocks the pattern of the one behind it.
