Hi Hayden, great video! I really enjoyed it! Michael Jackson vintage vinyls !!! How cool is that? Very precious!!! ❤🙏 please make a video of playing a little bit of those iconic records on your new record player! Thank you for sharing, take care, love and blessings from Canada ❤ 🙏👑👍✌🦋🌻
Lovely collection, if you wanted to get authentic original mj/j5 vinyls try discogs it’s what I have been using for ages and it’s so good. Great collection and your very underrated 💙
Thanks! Yeah I use Discogs a lot to see the different artwork for albums and just to browse some cool MJ bootlegs and other pressings. Don't forget to check out my other videos and subscribe! :)
I'd say like Facebook marketplace, second hand shops you might scoop a deal there, garage sales, workmates, record shops if it's around the area - especially the vintage ones, the internet.. - usually try and look around eBay and other selling sites online for the best deal as I've seen some of the same things go for completely different price points. People tend to overcharge just because it's vintage or a different pressing of it. Just look around and you'll find a source. Don't forget to check out my other videos and subscribe!
I'm not really a vinyl collector and that like I said most of my stuff I've got digitally. I've only got these records as a work colleague struck me up a deal. The Jacksons are not really in my collecting niche as I mainly focus on MJ
No! Don't play your vinyls! Unless you need to! Vinyls are created with "planned obselence"! Quincy Jones has laughed at the public about this before! They get worn out over time and are too fragile in terms of not getting scratched! Let them serve as they are! Documents in time and space in terms of where the artist(s) was/were at that point in time of their life/lives and careers!
I don’t have a vinyl player therefore I can’t play these vinyls. I mean you could argue that any form of technology has planned obsolescence. It really depends on the way are you take care of things as well as the condition that it is originally on. Planned obsolescence usually tends to be more associated with hardware and software relationship as opposed to strictly hardware. With vinyl records the only thing that I can see that is planned obsolescence is probably the format and the vintage hardware in which it talks to. Things getting worn out are in evitable, it’s just a matter of taking care of it as well as treating the medium for what it is. This is just simply my opinion and that I respectfully disagree with you.
hey Hayden nice video I also love collecting merchandise from my idol and I love watching the old ceremonials of the albums!!
Great video! awesome collection
Glad you enjoyed it! Don't forget to check out my other videos and subscribe! :)
